Comes with everything needed to get a really good tune, the edge guide is a little weird but works once you figure it out. The included wax hardly lasted a day on the hill so just order some good wax with the kit.

This waxing kit has every possible tool used to wax and tune your skis or snowboards, even more than the ski shops use! Everything in the kit fits comfortably (not jammed) into the included nylon storage case. All components are top quality, for example, the wax iron is made of thick plastic and steel. The controls are firm and functional. This feels like a commercial product. In addition to all the shaping tools, the iron, and the case, you get 3 different waxes for different conditions, and even an apron to stay clean. This kit cost about the same as a couple of trips to the waxer at the ski shop. It is an immense value, and you can easily perform a better job due to the included instructions and more varied tools included as compared to the basic scrape and melt they do at the shops. I highly recommend.

This kit arrived in its own padded zip top case. It contains basically everything for the beginning tuner short of the bench and ski/board vices. The iron is well made and easy to adjust temp on. The Peter fill sticks are in clear and black and nice. The files seem to be sharp and of good quality and it has instructions on base & edge tuning. You have large plastic and metal scrapers too. I like the shop apron and it's long so it will keep your clothing wax free. The only thing i won't use unless it's an emergency is the wax. I like to use premium waxes from Swix or Toko but overall this kit is the perfect place to start.
