Loving this set up for my succulents! First time using a portable tent, hoping it survives the winter here in New Mexico. Super easy to assemble metal frame! Needs 2 people to pullout all 4 legs evenly and adjust the height for stability. Opens up nicely like an umbrella, pushes up to pop the roof and done. The clear plastic tent cover feels strong with its fiberglass mesh reinforcement. I didn’t raise the legs all the way up to create a 5-6 inch skirt on the bottom of the tent that I tucked under a green mat then sat pavers and bricks inside inside and outside along the edges for additional weight against wind gusts from picking it up and flying like a kite. It came with ropes and stakes, I secured and reinforced them too. Hopefully it’s enough. Wish me luck!!! I did line the ceiling with a plastic white table cover from dollar store to help diffuse the intensity of the sun. It gets super hot in there. I have a fan going, then I’ll add the heater when the temp drops. This 8.5x11 is a great size and seems sturdy to hold all my planters and plants. Supposedly this kit comes with a hand shovel, but mine didn’t come with any. And after all this hard work I was not going to pack it up for return. So mine was not complete. Just make sure to check all the pieces before going through all the trouble of assembly and set up like I did, then realizing what was missing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The instructions how to extend the frame where not very clear and my hubby is an engineer lol. Accidentally we pulled opposite corners and voila it opened. The rest was easy. As u can see we secured the roof portion w ties since I noticed in strong winds(Florida) it tried to collapse! For hurricane days we will just collapse the roof portion I guess and lay down my shelf. I wish the side windows where higher to let winds go through easier. I cannot see this being used out in my yard due to so many thunderstorms in Florida. I don’t think it would last even if anchored. Since I have it on the patio and not fully up I had tent plastic on bottom to spare and placed multiple 25lb retention wall stones around the edge. I do love the space it provides to store all my planting/gardening materials now and I can close the tent door and leave the top netted window open. I did not realize it had 2 doors but I can only use one since opposite side is against the end of my patio. All in all I’m happy. Just hope it will hold up through hurricane season and collapsing it down as far as possible will due the trick. ... show more

I give Customer service (5 stars) from there help in replacing the greenhouse skin. I give the frame (5 starts) for the ease of installing the frame and the skin. I give the material/skin (1 star) for not lasting 6 months. The frame is great, even when Joyside sent the replacement skin, it was easy taking the old one off, lowering the frame to install the new skin. The material that it's made of will not last a year. Around the zipper started tearing after just a few weeks of having it. Even the new one they sent me I've had up for a week and it's already starting to tear at the zipper. It's tight and hard to zip. I put wax on all the zippers to help it zip easier, it's not working. Once this new skin comes apart, I will discard the entire greenhouse. To me, it's not worth the money, I won't buy again. Sorry Joyside, but thank you for replacing the skin even after the warranty was out. The sun, heat, wind, rain, will destroy the plastic skin. I live in Central California, it does get hot here. The inside of the greenhouse during the summer got over 122 degrees even with misters over the top and fans inside, the wind came up and destroyed the material/skin. Hopefully the new one will last longer. ... show more

This works amazingly if you are looking for something that’s easily setup and easily moved or taken down. The height is adjustable which is great because it allows you to sandbag the bottom to seal it down. If you live in a windy area it will be important to both screw it down and use the included rope and stakes to hold it in place. The actual plastic is heavy and has held up to high wind, heavy rain, and small hail. All in all pretty good little greenhouse option. Took less than 15 minutes to set up. 1 person can do it but much easier if a second person assists. Works as expected, love the double entry allowing from entry either end of green house. And the stakes to hold it down with are not flimsy thin metal but instead were legit spikes i could hammer. I was impresses they were included and not some worthless stakes. Only one issue i have where i believe its a design flaw that can easily be corrected. The plastic covering only reaches to touch the floor. This allows wind to get undetneath in breezy conditions. I also own another similar plastic tarp green house from a different manufacturer though it requires construction. However, their plastic tarp once in place extends to the ground and has an extra 6 inches that lays flat on the ground all the way around. Allowing soil and rocks to be put on top of that 6 inch lip creating a good seal with the ground and keeping wind from getting underneath the plastic canopy. With the pop up joyside green house i had to bury the legs 3 inchines in the ground to make a similar seal and put soil around the outside. Other than this minor design shortfall this green house is good. If they redesign the plastic to have that extra 6 inches to lay on the ground, then it could be perfect. ... show more

Pros: Setting up the greenhouse was easy. It’s large and provides space for many plants. Cons: The plastic cover is weak and holes appear on the rooftop part within months, which get worse overtime. It seems like the plastic is disintegrating. Due to the holes, there are many leaks in the greenhouse. I would not recommend this product due to the bad quality of the plastic. ... show more
