Loving this set up for my succulents! First time using a portable tent, hoping it survives the winter here in New Mexico. Super easy to assemble metal frame! Needs 2 people to pullout all 4 legs evenly and adjust the height for stability. Opens up nicely like an umbrella, pushes up to pop the roof and done. The clear plastic tent cover feels strong with its fiberglass mesh reinforcement. I didn’t raise the legs all the way up to create a 5-6 inch skirt on the bottom of the tent that I tucked under a green mat then sat pavers and bricks inside inside and outside along the edges for additional weight against wind gusts from picking it up and flying like a kite. It came with ropes and stakes, I secured and reinforced them too. Hopefully it’s enough. Wish me luck!!! I did line the ceiling with a plastic white table cover from dollar store to help diffuse the intensity of the sun. It gets super hot in there. I have a fan going, then I’ll add the heater when the temp drops. This 8.5x11 is a great size and seems sturdy to hold all my planters and plants. Supposedly this kit comes with a hand shovel, but mine didn’t come with any. And after all this hard work I was not going to pack it up for return. So mine was not complete. Just make sure to check all the pieces before going through all the trouble of assembly and set up like I did, then realizing what was missing. ... show more

I purchased this greenhouse in January when a freeze event was looming - it was relatively easy to put up and worked well with a small heater inside for the freeze event. I left it up as a spare place for plants which needed some protection from the weather. I have had it for about 6 months and the frame has already collapsed. It is not broken, but it will not stay up any more - there are no fasteners or clips to keep the structure from folding in on itself, especially if there is some rain and a pool of water starts to form in the plastic cover. I disassembled it today and found some joints rusting to the point where the frame is ready to break in places and thus, unusable, and the screen covering the windows and vents has already deteriorated and fallen apart in places. So keep in mind that if you need this for long-term use, you might look at other options. If you need it for emergency use only (4 or 5 months only) and are OK with disposing of it afterwards, then this unit may work for you. ... show more

I was able to assemble this greenhouse myself, although a second person would have made it much easier. The pop-up tent design is awesome. Seems pretty sturdy, but I reinforced it by tying buckets filled with rocks to the four corners. My plants will be very happy all through winter. Would recommend! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the greenhouse to alleviate bringing my plants in for fall and winter. While I am not in Florida, yet in the south, the greenhouse withstood the likes of hurricane Ian. I do not have the greenhouse fully expanded but WOW, the amount of space it offers is great for my purpose. This works amazingly if you are looking for something that’s easily setup and easily moved or taken down. The height is adjustable which is great because it allows you to sandbag the bottom to seal it down. If you live in a windy area it will be important to both screw it down and use the included rope and stakes to hold it in place. The actual plastic is heavy and has held up to high wind, heavy rain, and small hail. All in all pretty good little greenhouse option. I have used a PVC frame with 1oz agri-fabric that I had to tape or sprayglue the seams on for the past couple of years. I would spread cargo netting over the top to keep it from billowing in the wind. Well a gust just shredded the fabric the other day and my plants were in jeopardy. A friend found the Garden House on line, we ordered it and got it in days and it is the BEST! It is a plastic material with a fiber mesh inner layer for strength. Those leaving bad reviews are not accepting any personal responsibility - big surprise, huh? If you take the time to time down the corners - and I mean tine them down SECURELY (the stakes and rope is even included!) - it works great. I keep the end flaps open and side flaps closed so breezes pass through plus I have a fan inside. I DID NOT extend the legs all the way so I have a "skirt" around the bottom perimeter and I use sand filled 3/4" pvc sticks and tape them to the skirts to keep things neat and tight. Definitely 5 STARS IMO - just put in some effort! ... show more
