It works really nice, my granddaughter absolutely loves it! The battery lasts longer than I expected, maybe my expectations were too low, but we went around a pretty big block, and it seemed we could do that 3-4 times easily. The remote works great, in fact my granddaughter just sat back and enjoyed the ride like a passenger. The only downside I could see is the turning radius is kind of shallow, but I suspect if it was sharper, there might be a risk of flipping it over. I definitely recommend it ... show more

Was a lot of work to build the car and there were some missing screws that we had to replace. Works well and the battery lasts for awhile before you have to recharge. The kids love it and I am happy with the purchase!

Y’all, I was dreading putting this thing together. I put it off for weeks. And I was right. This thing was exactly as hard as I thought it would be to assemble. Pros: 1. You only need one person. 2. Partially pre assembled. 3. Comes with a plastic with a plastic wrench for tightening the bolts to attach the tires. Cons: 1. There are no written instructions. I repeat no written instructions for actually assembling the car. Just some trouble shooting tips for after you have already assembled.... which does you no good when you haven’t assembled said car. 2. It’s just page after page of crummy black and white line drawings. CRUMMY. 3. If you’ve never put anything together before and don’t have a healthy sense of common sense (and full disclosure I don’t, but I have put stuff together) you are in for a terrible Saturday afternoon. I tracked my time. Took me about 3 hours altogether. Part of that time was spent looking for an instructional video online somewhere. Spoiler alert, nope. You really do have to call customer service for access to the video. I did not do that since I want to spend my precious weekend time on the phone with cust serv about as much as you do. 4. There are different size screws that are mixed together and you have to rely on the crummy line drawings to figure out which ones to use for whichever part you’re putting together. 5. Because I want people not to go through what I went through here are my instructions to help you navigate the line drawings. First when you’re putting the front and rear bumper on the car the corresponding line drawing is of the car upside down. Same for when you’re attaching the tires to the axles. Also, my battery came with one of the leads unattached. So when I turned it on the first timer it didn’t work. No hint in the instructions that I would first have to remove the white plastic piece off the lead and then attach the lead to the battery. Once I did that the car ran fine. Good luck! The wide body really fits 2 riders at a time. The kids in question are regular sized kindergarteners between 5 and 6 years of age. Enough space to not feel squished. ... show more

Got this for my grandson who turned 3. He is not what I would call a small child. He fits with room to grow. He says it's a "good monster truck!" If you are looking for a truck to drive around in the country, this is not the truck. It gets traction but struggles to go up hills. Works beautifully on flat surface and even gets up to pretty good speeds. We live in the country and he lives in the city. Battery life was better than I expected. Lasted through him until he got bored and then we were able to put his one year old sister in until she also got tiered of it. Still had a charge when we put it in the van for them to take home. Of course we "tested" it out before they got it. It's a pretty fun truck to play with. I felt like it was a family toy as we enjoyed it as much as he did. The controls are not as consolidated as I would like. With forward and backward on one side and right and left on the other, I kept hitting the parking break and speed instead of turning. But not a deal breaker. There is no switch to go to manual driving but I had no problem correcting his driving when he decided to take control. I didn't have any of the problems I saw on here putting it together. I followed along with the video pausing as needed to get steps finished. It's very sturdy. I accidentally ran into a tree full speed while testing (without a kid) and it did zero damage. I think it would be a cool stroller for neighborhood walks. If you have two very small children they could fit but two hefty 3 year olds definitely would not. We did not try putting his sister in with him but thought she could possibly fit tightly. ... show more

The truck runs good and the kids love it. Assembly was easy, however, one of the tire rod supports was bent and the battery was not shipped with the unit. It was also missing a few screws. The company finally sent out a hardware set but did not send the replacement tire rod support. They did not send a battery with the car and did not send a replacement for that either. A trip to the hardware store and a core charge later I finally found one that works. I am very frustrated with the company and other than a few missing pieces the truck is fun. ... show more
