I highly recommend this battery pack for many reasons. Price, capacity, ease of installation, longevity of power and performance of battery. On a tantum bike I achieved speed of 25 mph and battery lasted for over 22 miles with little pedal assist. After 8 usages the locking mechanism acted up and the company was quick to respond with replacement lock and key mechanism. They even provided a video to show how to replace lock. I will reorder another battery pack for my next bike.

Battery works great. Gets my 200 lbs and Trek mtn bike with generic 26 inch 1000 watt front hub motor a bit over 28 mph on flat ground. I can get up the really steep hill from nearby boat ramp at 13mph if I pedal moderately; without motor and battery I had to walk bike up hill. I get about 15 miles range on flat ground before I have to charge. It's really kind of frustratingly fussy to install rack because it has lots of adjustment so will fit most bikes but you have to figure out which mounting holes work best for yours. Rack screws needed lock tite as they kept getting loose. It rattled around enough to be too noisy for my taste until I found a you tube showing how to put slight crimps in battery mounting plate to keep plate from rattling in the channels it slides into. Battery can not slide out with key in, wish key was at back of battery instead of front, you have to unlock key then take key completely out before removing battery from rack. Overall it's worked out just fine.

I like the rack, and I like the battery, I guess, but I don't like putting the battery on the rack on an actual bike. The rack seems quite nice and is well thought out for fitting a battery into it and the adjustments are cleverly made to accommodate a great deal of adjustment. However, I found that putting that large, heavy battery up that high over the rear wheel less to too much wobbly flexing of the whole bike for my comfort, even on the street. The battery is too big to mount anywhere else on my mountain bike, so I worked up a custom support to put it under the seat of my recumbent bike. The rack is pretty nice as a rack and maybe I'll make a little box for the battery storage area...? UPDATE: I've gotten some pretty scary sparks trying to plug the battery charger into the battery. You can see the marks on the plug and the battery in the pictures. I have another Joyisi battery with a totally different kind of charging port plug-in that does not spark. I hope it doesn't damage the battery. It's pretty alarming when it happens...

We bought 2 of these to go along with our AW 26"x1.75" Front Wheel Electric Bicycle Motor Kits and they work perfectly! The batteries that came with and were recommended by the wheel manufacturer were "clunky", had to be mounted in hanging bags and just didn't work well. These Li-ion Battery with Battery Holders are sleek, fit our Beach Cruisers perfectly, give us a rack to carry our "beach stuff" and one of the best features is how easy they are to charge! They lock in place when we are out and about, but I can unlock them, slide them both out and take them into the RV for charging when we return. Very happy with these and would recommend to anyone looking to convert their current bike into e-bikes!

I converted my Kona Dew Deluxe to electric with a controller and 1000 watt front wheel. The SLA batteries I tried initially were _functional_, but the bike had a range of about 6 miles @ approx. 50% throttle use. Since upgrading to the Joyisi pack, the utility of the bike has increased exponentially. I need to add a better gauge so I can drain the battery more fully between charges, but I'm getting at least 20 miles per charge, including some very aggressive uphill segments. On flat ground, the battery powers the bike to approx. 35MPH; even on really steep hills with minimal pedal assist, I do at least 15MPH. Biking 15MPH uphill with little/no effort is EPIC. Very happy with the battery. I wound up using a different seatpost rack instead of the pannier-style rack Joyisi provided, but that was more due to the geometry of my bike than any issue with the rack. When you order, keep in mind that the packs need to be assembled, tested, shipped to America, make their way through customs, and eventually get to your door. This is NOT a 2-day process; mine took about 2 weeks (which was within the quoted delivery date range). Awesome battery, solid charger. 10/10.

I got this 48V battery, rack and charger to replace the original battery that came with my Prodecotech Outlaw SS e-bike that had worn out with heavy use over five years. The battery works great, is the right size for my 750 watt motor, and was HALF THE PRICE THAT THE BIKE MANUFACTURER WANTED FOR THEIR OWN REPLACEMENT BATTERY! What really surprised me is how well the rack was designed. There are many adjustments that you can make to customize how the rack fits your particular bike. It fit mine like a glove! Joyisi is a great company with good customer service. I hope to get all my bike parts from Joyisi from now on!

Unfortunately, two of these have now died in a the last year with VERY light use (300 +/- miles). I have sent it out to be rebuilt as I have designed my rack mount for this housing. Could be cheap cells, but my money is on cheap electronics and or connections. But, I would not purchase again. Once I have the update from the rebuilder on what went "wrong" I will update the review.

The battery has been working great with my Electric conversion I did to my bike the biggest grip is every once in a while I have to retighten the bolts holding the arms that help keep it up as they loosen up over time and have already once slipped their mount and ended up having my battery rack dragging behind me.
