If you really want pointy Q-tips, don’t buy these. The ends are not to a point as you can see in my pic. The pic compares these to the Nail Tees brand which is so much better. Lesson learned. I’ll will never buy these again, useless for my needs.

I don't know if it's some body lotion but there's a VERY HEAVY floral fragrance on ALL the bags and the qtips themselves. It is strong and it is BAD. Not only that but the "points" are soft rounded ends barely better than a standard round qtip. They probably got squished in packaging and shipping but the strength isn't there at all, which someone in reviews even said they're "sharp" - not even remotely. Not a single one I received looks as pointed as the picture. I use these to get under long fingernails and to fit in tight spots, I previously used qtips designed to clean guns, they have a solid feel to them. They don't bend when pressure is applied, these completely mush when used in any way. They're cheap sure, but I guess this is the trade off. The gun cleaner qtips weren't much more expense wise so I'll just stick to them even tho they're more wasteful. ... show more

These double sided swabs are fab! I use for mixing my acrylic paints, when I only have to mix a very small amount. The fibers do not come off in the paint. The pointed tops make it so easy to just add a tiny speck of paint to get the shade just right. In addition, they also work great for cleaning up my vintage finds, getting into the little crevices. These cotton swabs are great for cleaning and applying make up. They are the same size as other cotton swabs. The ends are more pointed with slightly less cotton. The sticks are sturdy and did not break when pressure was applied. These swabs can be used for many things. I gave used them to removed nail polish and they're nice because it doesn't leave little fuzzies on your nails! I have used them to gently wipe the insides of my kitten;s ears to remove a small build-up of dirt (relax...not inside the ear; just the tips 🙃) and I gave some to my grandchildren to paint their pictures with and, again, no fuzzies left behind. I use these in my rock art when I make a mistake with my painting. The pointed tip works great for cleaning drips or between dots. The tips are more firm than the rounded ones and do not bend with multiple uses, or saturate to the point of being useless. They also work well if trying to get a small amt of glue on a tiny surface. Lines eye shadow well too. Do not use in ears!! The end is smaller and more firm than the rounded q-tip, and if you don't know better than to stick a q-tip in your ear already, then don't buy these for ear cleaning. ... show more

These swabs far out shine the national brand for makeup and skin care. These little beauties maintain their pointy end rather than becoming all rounded and mushy like the guys in the blue box. I found these swabs to be excellent for makeup removal-especially long wearing eyeliner. Put my eye makeup remover on the swab and it gets right into that lash line to dissolve eye liner and mascara. Using a cotton ball or round was just wasting to much remover. These are also good for makeup application and smudging. They do not fall apart, pill or pull apart.
