Good: nice options and sound. Seems pretty well made. Bad: keys are really cheap feeling and the lowest volume level is still REALLY loud. Also no USB so you can't use the program it lets you have a free trial of.

I picked this up for my kids' piano classes. I chose this one primarily because it came with a stand and a seat, and also its $120 price point. DS likes the headphones, but I prefer him to play out loud, so I can tell where his mistakes are. The sound quality isn't the best-- I'm not a musician, but even I can hear that it's not as good as some other keyboards we've used in the past. (Grainy? Tinny? Artificial? Not crisp?) But I do like the light-up keys (it would be nice if the manual came with a song list that gave the names for the 49? 50? pre-programmed songs). The music doesn't stand up well on the music stand, but we put a few clothespins on it to give extra stability. Someone who's a music major will certainly want a better-quality instrument, of course. In the meantime, it's a great basic starter keyboard for a child. If my kids were better at piano, they might outgrow it someday... but I don't think their skill will ever get to the point where this doesn't suffice. (Mine certainly won't!) :) ... show more

It's early still, had this keyboard for two days so far, but three kids all under 10 have been playing with it non-stop! It is awesome! Great sound, tons of beats and different sounds, they're figuring it out faster than the adults lol the headphones by the way- godsend. The music stand does not clip it, it sits in a groove is all. Stand is sturdy too. Chair is perfect. No complaints :) this is my 9yr old who is about 5' tall and ~70lbs sitting at it. We haven't dabbled in connecting it to USB-anything yet or playing music through it etc, but I love it. The keys are standard size, and do not play louder upon smash really. ;) ... show more

This is one of the best buys ever. The quality is excellent with sound as good as units that cost 3 times as much. The features are very rich and extensive with most of those in very expensive units. With the stool and stand packaged in, this is the ideal starter for youngsters. Instead of getting a children's setup, get this which they can use immediately and grow into until they are ready for the concert stage. Does not come with instruction, just an owners manual which tells you what things are but not how to use any of the functions. i believe there is an app (based on the video in the listing) but i havent found any info on the app or what to download. No song list, not that it would be easy to play a song if you knew the number. this keyboard is not user friendly but if you can somehow get back to Piano mode, its not worse than learning on a Real "analog" piano. the stand is okay, but flimsy and too much effort needed to change height. ... show more
