The second one I got worked for about 5 minutes before it was so hot it was starting to smell like burning plastic and stopped working. Definitely very dangerous. This worked but every time I plugged it in, a small spark shot out of my wall plug socket, even when this wasn’t plugged into the xbox. Between this issue and reading the other reviews, I don’t trust it.

This works great. Had my old cord chewed up by animals so needed a replacement bad. This one is a good fit and doesn't heat up as much.
