I was looking for a somewhat casual shoe, but I find these to be dresser than everyday, around town foot wear. In comparison, I have similar style, but different brand, and they look great with jeans, these don't. They do look good if you're dressing up in business casual or nicer and they are comfortable enough for some city walking.     • Nice fitting boots, but NOT for motorcyle riding
These boots are stylish and comfortable, but I was disappointed using them as motorcycle boots. I had my first motorcycle training last weekend, and these were my first motorcycle boots. There were multiple reasons why I would NOT recommend these for motorcyle riding: 1. They boots are narrow, pointed, and slick, especially toward the toes. Made it challenging to lift the clutch on the motorcycle - there was almost no grip. 2. The heels are fairly high, which made it difficult to position and move. The heel would 1) catch the footrest and 2) force your foot to dip down at too great of an angle when the heel was on the footrest. 3. The tread is rather deep. This would give good traction for walking, but the tread did not slide over the serrations on the footrest, so movement was not smooth. Even rotating my foot on the footrest was not smooth. 4. They were also a little fancy looking for the motorcycle class. Felt poseur-y. The boots are fine for walking around if you like the style. But definitely should not be considered motorcycle boots. Also, they don't seem rugged enough for hiking, but I haven't tried that. Honestly, I'd prefer to have my money back to put toward a real pair of motorcycle boots, but I've already worn them at the training. ... show more
