    • Another Atempt at making money?
I just watched this DVD with the pics in the old fashioned tint (I forgot the name of the effect, vintage maybe?). i bought the DVD for $6 and I have to say, the pics are a contrast of Jesus in the modern world, but there were about 6-8 pics or so only of Jesus as a "fashion model" that I could have cared less for! The same for the pics of Jesus without a shirt??? Beyond that, I guess it's OK, but not like the review of Charles Stanley about being great or whatever. It's just vintage pics, which by the way, I popped into my bluray player in my computer and they looked kind of fuzzy, or awfully grainy. Perhaps an old monitor or projector will do them justice. But truthfully, I think of this like the "Prayer of Jabez" little book that sold like hotcakes just because it may have appealed to the "Gospel of prosperity" crowd or the capitalist masses. lots of hype, but no biblical substance! Perhaps just another attempt to monetize pics of Jesus and take advantage of the gullible evangelical crowd. Same stuff as the fictional books and movie "Left behind". Hollywood effects, but more fiction than biblical substance. I'll say the pics are OK. if you cannot get pics for your power point somewhere else. I am now very glad I only paid $6 for DVD because it's not worth $20!!! And if we truly want to get inspired, let's just read the Bible more often. Thanks.
