When my husband had been in medical rehab for a while, Medicare gave him a very nice wheelchair to go home with. It was very good, but heavy and sometimes difficult to get through doorways. We found this one at Amazon. It was not only lighter, it has a nice little pocket in the back of the seat where we can store his paperwork when going to the doctors. It is also a few inches narrower, not a lot, but easier to get through narrow doorways. I find it so easy to put in the car and take it out. We kept the other one for when we might need something bigger, but I don't think we will ever need it.

I broke my leg and I had to travel to many appointments with a wheelchair. The hospital issue was heavy. I wanted something lighter that my wife could handle. I compared available options and opted for the So Lite. Glad I did. It’s everything it is advertised as. Lightweight. Wheels are easily removed and reattached. Same with foot rests. Foldable. I also needed to be able to slide from the wheelchair to a chair or bed. The arm rises and there is only a small hump to scoot my behind over. Great design and met all my expectations and needs. Perfect.

There was no seat belt, no anti-tip over. These are some of the reasons that I purchased this make and model. It does appear to be very light weight and transportable. I hope it will make a good chair to travel with.

Being a small, senior female and a first time wheelchair buyer, I found my options limited. Most chairs were too large and too heavy for me. This chair is light and easy to maneuver. Foot supports are also light and separate from each other instead of being one large, heavy, clunky piece. They fold under the chair or remove with ease. So easy for my husband to pop the chair into the car. I thought having a wheelchair would mean I would be scowling every time I even saw it. But it is such a great help to me in daily living that it makes me smile.

I searched so many wheelchairs that were lightweight, gave me access to the wheels for propelling and I could not have made a better choice than the So-Lite. Ready to use out of the box. A bonus feature that I could only find on this chair is the swing away arms for easy exit and entry into the chair. This chair remains in and out of the car only but would also work for your only chair. I add an additional pad for extra comfort and you are ready to go. Handles so easy,stable,and no tipping issues even without the tipping wheels. Goes over door thresholds easily. If for any reason I would ever need to replace this would be my Go To chair !!!!

This wheelchair was too heavy and bulky, so we sent it back right away on June 20th. It is July 14th and it still hasn’t been received by the company, so our refund is “in progress.” It appears that this product is not fully supported by Amazon. They had no trouble taking our money immediately, but did not refund it when we sent the item back with a UPS confirmation. Do not order this wheelchair unless you are CERTAIN you will keep it.

My wife and I planned to go on a long Mediterranean cruise and she needs a wheelchair. I wanted a lighter weight chair to use for our cruise and everyday use. I researched a while before purchasing the Journey So Lite C2. I knew the streets of old Rome were cobblestone as well as some of the ports of call and one of the features that attracted me is the more supple wheels that make the ride a bit softer than a conventional wheelchair. The Journey So Lite C2 is well built and held up very well in Rome where we visited the Trevi fountain, Vatican City and the Colosseum. Another feature I found very useful is the hand brakes on the handles which came is handy on the hills of olde town Rhodes. We traveled with other family members and the quick release hubs and folding ability of the chair came in handy when the van we were taking to the airport was full of luggage and people. Overall, I am VERY satisfied with the Journey So Lite C2. The only criticism I have is I wish the front wheels were a bit wider and bigger around as the wheels would occasionally get stuck in cobblestone gaps.
