I wasn't sure what to expect with these, but I really like them. They're comfortable and lightweight. I definitely could've ordered a smaller size--I tend to size up if I'm not familiar with the brand because my legs and quads are very muscular, but that wasn't necessary here. Front pockets are entirely capable of holding a smartphone, wallet, keys, and other random small items. The fabric is soft, the print is attractive, and the shorts dry quickly as advertised, whether on your body or on a clothesline. You could definitely swim in these as long as you've got something underneath to prevent the release of the kraken, as it were. Fit is roomy and relaxed. Bought two pairs and love them. The colors are vivid, the look is clean and sharp, and they’re extremely comfortable. Lightweight fabric makes them perfect for summer, and the elastic waist with drawstring adds to the easy fit. The lightweight isn’t a con for these shorts. I like the look of these. They run a little bigger than I expected. I also highly recommend washing before wearing. I usually do but had a thing I wanted to wear these at and didn’t get a chance to. Ended up with a nasty rash along the waste band a day after.
