Until recently I had been cutting small wood pieces for random projects using dulled hacksaw blades, but that is very inefficient and time consuming. I then bought a 14 TPI hand saw that tears through wood with little effort but leaves an edge that needs some smoothing, that saw also does a terrible job on small pieces of wood. I knew I needed another saw but didn't need a full size one as I wouldn't need a high TPI saw as often and didn't want to spend too much on it. This Jorgensen hand saw is perfect for my needs. It's very sharp, feels durable and is just the right size for cutting through small pieces of wood.

A good quality hand saw, made of good material that seems to keep its edge. The blade if flexible enough to be used for flush cuts, and the teeth can cut even hard woods without too much effort. It is not that large a saw, so its mostly good for occasional trimming or flush cuts of wood that you can't reach with power tools. You would definitely want something larger if you were going to use it to replace power saws. It is a good enough saw that I wish it had some sort of case to keep it from just being loose. I have tried to keep using the original packaging, which is basically just cardboard and a thin bit of plastic around the teeth, but that isn't working very well.

These saws are great. A little more rigid than the very flexible ones which allows some bigger cuts. Cuts like a knife through butter. Handle is nice too.

I purchased this cut all prices of wood for my craft projects when I didn’t want to use a table saw . It’s very sturdy and sharp so be careful . Works perfect for my needs .

Always have liked Jorgensen products when I was woodworking. Now retired, I’m more into grilling and cooking. I got this saw to use as a bone saw. Works great and is kept with my cutlery sets.

Nice little saw but... Does not have a flat kerf on one side. Scratches surface if using to cut off dowels. Cutting off dowels flush is why I purchased this tool. Did not do this particular job well. Better off using an Oscillating Tool with masking tape. Follow up with scary sharp chisel. Otherwise a good pull saw for other purposes.
