I went with the 12" size after reading many articles from people saying that ends up being the most useful size they find themselves using often. I am happy with the choice of length, and also with the quality of the product itself. Everything seems well made and the little rubber pads on the jaws are attached well so that I don't worry about them slipping off (as is a common complaint with some of the other brands I looked at).     • The pads don't stay on
It's a nice clamp, but why don't the pads stay on? I have knock-off brands of a similar design and the rubber pads stay put. I am constantly picking these up off the floor. I still like the clamps, but i sure wish they'd fix that! I am also being quite generous with 4 stars...

    • Rubber ends fall out to much
I don’t love how the rubber placements fall of. As far as value for the money they aren’t cheap but fairly priced . Three I would prefer festool but hey u take what u can

    • Good for less than a week
I love this product at first but after 5 days the clamp stopped clapping a board down for me. A little DIY project and it wouldn’t hold. I’m sadden by this because I do really like the design. I’m going to return this hoping they send me a new one.

    • Pretty great- need to glue rubber pads in place...
Clamps themselves are great- but I found that the rubber pads constantly slip off. These rubber pads popped off several times before I glued them in place.

just got clamp. clamped my first boards and one clamp broke. The other 3 i bought seem to be working ok. will update review after i hear from seller. They will probably send a replacement and all will be good

    • over priced
I really like using The pony clamps. very sturdy. I have had very few blowouts on glue-ups. This 2 pac is over priced at current level, Lowes sells them in a 4 pac (2ea) 12""& 6" for a $1 more than this price of a 2 pac??? I will now do a LOT more looking around before I by at Amazon...

    • Fails quickly, a bit dangerous
The grooves that lock the sliding portion wore down after only a few uses. The bar also bends very easily. It appears solidly made, but it is not. Worked fine about 8 times I would guess then suddenly snapped when I was clamping something not very heavily.
