I wanted clamps with sufficient force for all kinds of gluing applications, and these clamps deliver 400 lbs while providing the one handed operation that speed clamps deliver. These are quality clamps. Very strong, solid clamping force. Large clamping pad area. Selected these based on Jorgensen brand quality and spreader feature. Needed them for a plexiglass cutting project. No bandsaw so I had to use jigsaw. These clamps worked great. Held plexiglass solid while cutting. Release trigger is in different position, on handle, no problem. I have several Irwin Quick-Grips, used for many years. Definitely switching to Jorgensen. I’ll be purchasing more.     • Strong and great for most applications
These are awesome clamps. Very heavy duty and easy to work! Note they do cause the clamped parts to shift a timy bit when pressure is applied, so for those applications I still use bar clamps, but these ace my other ratchet clamps.
