I just laid this rug down. I got the brown color. I love the color for the first thing, it's like a golden brown color and goes really well with the carpet I was laying it by. Recently my landlord had my wall to wall carpet replaced and I wanted this to lay down on top of it in an area I sit in my bedroom where I eat and drink coffee in the morning. It's there so I don't by chance ruin the new carpet with food or drinks spilling. I'm disabled so I usually sit in this spot all day. I saw comments from people getting this rug that it had an odor. It does have a bit of a new carpet smell and that's to be expected, but it's not overwhelming. It smells like new carpet that's all. When its been down awhile and airs out I don't think it will have any odor at all. Like I said I just laid it down so I'll see after having for awhile how I still like it, but I'm really happy with it on my first impression. You won't be disappointed. Even the backing looks really sturdy so I don't think it will wrinkle up. It’s a little lighter than I had hoped, it’s more of a beige than the tan I was hoping but that’s ok. It kinda gives the visual of sand to me and it’s softer then I had thought it would be! The cats seem to love it too, as soon as it was unrolled and everything moved back they started to investigate it and play on it so that’s a win. I would buy this rug again, maybe in the brown next time! It did have a small smell to it but I think that’s just from the plastic it was rolled in and not the carpet itself. In the pictures I had literally JUST opened, unrolled and put it down. It took my 11 year old dog about a minute to inspect it and lay down. I really like it! It is actually thicker than I expected, which is awesome because then my dog can lay on it comfortably and roll around on it. Can you tell who this rug was really for? Very happy and can’t wait for it to flatten out. I’ve already ordered rug grippers for the corners. Update: the grooves from being rolled have worked out and the rug is beautiful! I’ve ordered a 3x5 and I am getting a 2x16 runner. I like this rug that much. I bought a house with hard wood floors and my older dog has trouble walking on them so I needed some good area rugs for the space as he walks in. It turns out the area rug is way lighter in color than shows, it covers plenty of area for what I need. I have old worn out carpet in my living, and this rug serves the purpose until I get new floors.

I was pretty satisfied with this rug for the price. I was wanting a low pile rug that was easy to clean and vacuum ,seeing I have 3 dogs. This one is perfect for that. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because 6 or more of the looms were pulled. ( you can see it in my pic) I had to cut them with scissors. I unrolled it in my garage and left if out there for 48 hours to get that awful new rug smell out. I didn’t have any problems with creases and the corners all laid flat. I’ve been trying to find a nice rug and also not so expensive,and I found this one,it looks like ad’s pics,it’s a low pile rug what I like it and this one was perfect it feels nice on barefoot and if u add it a rug pad it would be much better in my case it’s ok without it,non shedding,and the grey color it might change to dark grey or lighter depending on which way you move the surface,highly recommended ... show more

The oval size was perfect and the beige color was right on as well. The pile was adequate as I knew. The curve on each end of the oval would not stay down. I tried to reverse the curl by rolling the curves under. That didn’t work . As a result it became a slight nuisance as you walked on it catching your foot. I had to return them. I’m considering re-ordering the square 3x5 rugs. I believe the stitching on the ends caused the curling on the oval. ... show more
