I love pretty much everything about this rug. The look and color, though labeled Santa Monica, is Moroccan to me. It works well in my kitchen because it’s constructed of what I suspect is a plastic based material. That makes it light weight, indestructible, and unlike poly “ washable” rugs, it won’t get ugly after 6 months. Easy to clean! People have noted that it doesn’t lie flat immediately and neither did mine. I put a pad under it and after a week it was completely smooth. The price was perfect and delivery smooth. This rug looked so much better in person. I am very pleased! It took a few days to "relax" but is nice and flat now. I bought it to place in front of my washer/dryer set which is in our garage and it's the perfect size. 3x5. I will need to put something under it to keep it from slipping on our painted floor which is a bit slick. However, I wanted a rug without a rubber backing as over time the backing falls apart. A small piece of the rubber cabinet liner from my kitchen should do the trick. I think this will clean up nicely with just a rinse from a hose if needed. It's not a super soft carpet-like feel so if that's what you want this isn't for you. But it has a designer look and will do well outdoors or in other areas with high traffic, pets, etc...Highly recommend this! ... show more

The quality of this rug is amazing. I was lucky enough to get it at the sale price of $59 and it’s well worth every penny. The design and texture look and feel so nice. Very well made. The first picture is just out of the package. It laid flat immediately with just a few slight creases. The folded edges are stiff so the rug won’t roll or curl to be tripped on. It was on my patio within three days of arrival and the creases had totally disappeared by the time I placed it. It’s not too thick, nor is it flimsy. It’s soft on bare feet. The material seems durable as well. Mine will be under a covered patio so hopefully it lasts a long time. Beautiful inexpensive upgrade to my patio. ... show more
