Comfortable for the trip to and from work. As the name implies it is light, help keep the socks dry, snug to the fit, the quality is yet to be fully determined but didn't blow out for a whole week.

Purchased these boots to climb Mount St. Helens. Took them out the box and did the hike. I was a little concerned since I had not broke in the boots but they performed perfectly. No blisters. Held up really well to the rock climbing and ash/sand gravel that was the last couple of miles to the top.     • Awful smell out of the box, still smell 30 days later

Well, briefly tried them on. Disappointingly, they stunk to high heaven of some type of chemical or leather treatment coming out of the box. I have them sitting in the garage to air out and the smell is fading, but it was extremely pervasive. The paper stuffed in the shoes absolutely reeks of the same type of chemical. The left boot seemed a little large, but the right boot fits very well. If the smell does not tamp down, they will have to be returned. The smell never completely disappeared, and unfortunately missed the return window by one day. They still smell like the chemical stench they had since day one. It has not completely faded. Do not want these chemicals absorbed through the skin, and through my liver. Will not deal with brand or vendor again. Will simply stick with a known quantity like Merrell or Timberland.
