It had a fair amount of ripples when we first opened, but they are becoming much flatter over the few days we've had it out. I really like the look of this rug! It’s fairly good quality especially for the price. It’s not the softest rug but I also think it being so short will be easy to keep clean. I set up furniture on the corners overnight and it mostly flattened. Still a few spots like pictures that are sticking up but I think they will flatten over time. ... show more

The 8x10 is pictured. I also ordered a 2x8 & 5’ round. The 2x8 & 8x10 straightened out a lot quicker than then the round one. The 8x10 still curls up under the couch, but I taped the corners down that stick out. The 2x8 was easy to get flat & tape down. The 5’ round is not so easy so far. Hoping it eventually lays flat. I really like this rug. It came well packed with no weird smell, and arrived sooner than expected. Size and color were accurate. It seems to be holding up well to my German Shepherd which is what I needed. I did apply carpet tape to corners to help with rolling and have had no issues since.
