Description

If your dog likes to retrieve at the lake, or play with other dogs, this ball is a "must have." The Romp-n-Roll by Jolly Pets features a ball made from Jolly Pet’s signature JollyFlex material- an innovative, durable, non-toxic material that can be punctured without deflating and bounces during play. Even if your dog puts a hole in it, it will still keep its shape. It is designed to be kicked, tugged, carried and launched. The Easy Grip rope can be pulled back and forth through the dog ball, but never comes out. Ideal for games of chase, tug-of war and water retrieval (it floats!), the Romp-N-Roll is sure to provide hours of outdoor fun for your dog. Available in three sizes: Small (4.5 inches) for dogs under 20 lbs., Medium (6 Inches) for dogs 20-60 lbs., and Large (8 inches) for dogs over 60 lbs. Jolly Pets is proud to manufacture the Romp-n-Roll Dog ball right here in the USA, and supports organizations throughout the nation that provide toys to shelter dogs. Jolly Pets believes all dogs should be Jolly, even while waiting for forever homes. Note: We design our toys to be durable, but no dog toy is indestructible. For safety, you should always supervise while your dog plays with any toy. Remove all packaging and dispose or properly. Parts of this item can be a choking hazard to pets and children if removed from the toy. If any becomes loose, detached, or destroyed, remove the toy and discard immediately.

  • Indestructible*
Size: 6 Inches/Medium Color: Blue
Ok, not indestructible. But nearly. Stands up to many hours of being hurled into a horse pasture and fought over aggressively by two very determined dogs. The rope allows them to carry without biting the ball itself, increasing longevity. Weatherproof as well.

  • Very sturdy
Size: Large (8 in) Color: Orange
My dogs destroy everything, and I mean everything! I’ve tried super chewer toys and they’re not interested in the really dense plastic toys but they love this thing. The rope in the middle makes it perfect for tug and no matter how many times they chew on it it doesn’t puncture or loose its shape. We’ve had one for months now and I’ve just had to retie the rope a few times. ... show more

  • Great toy!
Size: 8 inches Color: Red
We have a 50lb Shar-Pei mix and a 65lb Catahoula mix, both are in love with this ball! I got the 8" and was bigger than I thought it would be, which is perfectly fine (it's about the size of a soccer ball) and because of the size I know the ball will last for a very long time, as they won't be able to fit it in their mouths to chew it up. The only problem I have is the rope. They were given the ball yesterday right after it was delivered and after an hour or so of play our Shar-Pei (who is a master chewer) was starting to cut through the rope. Because of his chewing, most toys (including this one) are outside only (he not only chews up the toys, but will also eat them if given the chance) I thought the rope would hold up longer being that it is limited play outside, but alas, the rope will be sawed through by the end of the week I'm sure. I knotted the rope against the ball to try and make it last a bit longer, (they won't want anything to do with it if they can't pick it up) As the toy isn't cheep, and they love it so much, I'm hoping I can find the rope they use for dog toys so I can just replace it. Over all it's a big hit! However because of the rope issue we are going to get the jolly ball with the handle next time and see how they like that one. ............................................................................................................................. UPDATE - 2 Months After Purchase: OK so we have had the Jolly for about 2 months now and I thought I'd do an update. The rope has actually held up FAR better than I had expected it to. I have not had to replace the rope, and it is still mostly intact. Two months of tug has it very beat up tho. The ball itself still looks almost new. We were so extremely pleased with this toy we just got a second one. I knotted the rope one the new one like it did with the first, so that there is a knot tight against each side of the ball) as I think that really is helping to extend the life of the rope some. One word of advise tho (we learned the hard way) if you live down south like we do, and have fire ants...DO NOT leave this toy in the yard over night!!! Luckily, I had spotted it before the dogs went to play that morning, in one night a bunch of fire ants had nested inside the ball. It took about 3 days of submerging the ball in water to flush them all out (I think they were gone after 2 days but I wanted to be positive every last one was out before they played with it again). ... show more

  • Really a nice size even for big dogs and it is holding up mostly
Size: 4.5 Inches/Small Color: Red
It is smaller than I thought but it turns out it is great for our lab when we toss it in the pool. She loves getting it and swimming back out of the pool, happily carrying it. It has some chew marks on the ball but our dog works the toy pretty good. It seems to be holding up. The rope knot came out undone once already. That seems to be the only weak spot. I put it throught with a twisting motion and it came out the other side. Otherwise, you cannot push it through. The hole and the rope together are a super tight fit to try to get the rope through again. I knotted it and I try to toss from that end. I would like it to last in use for at least a year. I hope it does. Overall we are quite pleased with it. The ball does not collapse...at least for our dog it has not. ... show more

  • My dogs love it
Size: 8 inches Color: Red
The media could not be loaded. My Rottweiler Diesel (who passed away a few yrs back) loved plating tether ball. Only problem was the balls did not last. We found this one at Petco and it lasted a lot longer. It's priced higher at Petco though. Well Diesel showed Rex our Blue Heeler the ball and he took to it immediately. Well we finally decided to get another Rott (Apollo) and at 11 weeks old he took to the game. My dogs really enjoy this ball. As long as it's connected to the rope and pole we can all enjoy being outdoors together. Worth the purchase. ... show more

  • Melts in the sun (large dark purple)
Size: 8 inches Color: Purple
The large purple romp-n-roll ball melts in the sun. I have had it around a year, but up until recently I had lived in an apartment and the ball was never in the sun long enough to melt. Since moving to the country, I don't put the dogs' toys away every day. I have Jolly Pets toys in dark red and orange that have not melted, and a small purple romp-n-roll that has also not melted. Sadly, the large dark purple romp-n-roll ball melted in the sun on a clear 96°F day. This thing is still absolutely a 5/5⭐ dog toy. It stands up to biting even when the rubber is soft and melted. Today I discovered it had developed a large divot. But my dog still absolutely loves it, and the ball is still very kickable and usable. I think he actually enjoyed that the divot gives him a better place to hold it. He also seemed to like that the movement of the ball was unpredictable. As long as none of the pieces are coming off, and the dogs still haven't chewed through it, the romp-n-roll will be in play. ... show more

  • The search is over!
Size: 8 inches Color: Red
I bought this for my 1+ year old 40lb blue heeler/Australian cattle dog that has an infinite amount of energy. But after going through two Wiggle Wag Wobble balls I figured I should change it up. Typically I have to roll/toss the ball for her to chase it then I have to do it again. But since this is larger and also has her other favorite toy, a rope, she pushes and tosses and scoots this all around on her own which is great for giving my old back a break and keeping her entertained and active. The big(ish) con that I've seen other speak of is the rope coming undone rather quickly. I preemptively fixed that by squirting just enough gel super glue into the knots to keep them tied. This is now officially her toy of choice next to her Kong flyer and we couldn't be happier! ... show more
