We were skeptical when shopping for new fountains after our old metal fountain died. All we were seeing were resin fountains, and we didn't really like the look of them, and we worried about the stability of them. We found this fountain and liked the cosmetics of it. Next worry was about the stability. We decided to go ahead and order it. It was easy to put together. Birds love the top level because they can get a good drink from the gentle water spout. The night after we installed it we had a good wind with storms that moved through. No problems at all. The fountain was sturdy. Probably sturdier than our old metal one that weighed much more. Nice looking fountain. Just installed it this weekend. No instructions included, not too bad to assemble, but still should have been included. And the water pump hose could have been a little longer so you don't have to struggle so hard to get it on. Hopefully this finish on the fountain will last all summer. ... show more

Before and after love the new fountain is so much nicer than the old one 5 stars Does not hold a lot of water yesterday was 92. And had to add water in one day

Looks terrific! Sounds terrific! Only downfall would be that it splashes a lot so you need to fill up reservoir daily if not more frequently. Not really a problem if you go outdoors a lot, but I wouldn’t leave it running unattended.

I’m so glad I took a chance on this fountain. The price, size and simple design helped make the decision for me. The sound of the water is almost like a natural creek. Surrounded by flowers in one of my gardens it is a welcome addition. I was unable to turn the pump setting down, the knob wouldn’t budge, so it does splash some which is alright in my setting. I will replace it with a better pump someday when this one wears out. I was also concerned with the materials not looking natural but the weight and expense of a stone or concrete fountain was not a viable alternative for me. With the water running, the soothing sound and surrounded by flowers, it looks natural and lovely. ... show more

I have had this fountain 2 seasons now, and I love it. It went together easier than expected, but still it took some concentration. Looks classic and rich in my garden, stone tone looks authentic. Sound is wonderful, though I agree with other reviews, keep the pump setting as low as possible. Only issue, as others mentioned, it loses water quickly from splash and evaporation. Fortunately mine is near my water outlet, so I simply turn on the hose and refill the basin every day just like watering patio plants. Takes roughly a gallon per day. But - I keep the hose setting on "shower" and run fairly low pressure. Harsh spray will remove the surface finish. In winter I cover it with a BBQ Grill cover. At the start of the season this year, I coated it with clear acrylic spray paint and that seems to give it good protection. Looking forward to next season when I can turn it on again. ... show more
