Twin nephews turned two, so we got a pair of this sharp looking trikes. Main frame parts are steel and are well constructed. Other parts are plastic and should hold up well. One bolt connects frame to rear axle...two bolts attach the plastic seat to frame...clamp locks handlebars in. BUT....THE AD SAYS " ASSSEMBLY REQUIRED...NO" I was kind of doubtful because they would have been awfully big to ship assembled. Basic "wrench" is included, but using socket set would be easier, for sure. Toughest part was tightening the handlebar clamp, because the basket leaves a small window to get it aligned and tightened. Overall it was easy, but it didn't list all the parts that should have been included in the box and a spring came out that was not seen and we didn't know it was missing until we couldn't figure anything else out and found it had come out of the packaging.
