Great sounding piece, free blowing yet easy to make speak at low volume levels on my Yanagisawa curved soprano. Had a bit larger bore inside so I’m gonna need to get the neck re-corked. Nice tone and good altissimo response. A keeper.

I was really impressed by how free-blowing and responsive this mouthpiece is! If you like that characteristic, then you should try this mouthpiece. Unfortunately for me, it's way too bright - however, this is a personal preference and would be subject to your particular blowing technique, so results will vary! ... show more

Soprano sax is, IMHO, truly difficult to hold the note steady, on pitch. The Jazz has a large opening to allow the jaw to work the note. A beginner (I play clarinet and tenor sax) needs to first play the long notes well before learning to swoop into a note. Back to working my Yanagisawa mouthpiece first. ... show more
