Took my dad and I more like 2 1/2 days to build. One day was a rainy day so we couldn't finish that day. The right door was frustrating when a part broke but we just attached an L bracket and it works great now. Directions were very confusing in the beginning and frustrating when it came to just figuring out how to set it up with the brackets that go down to be upwards. It leeks little when raining near the windows even after putting that silicone spray they tell you to in the directions but not to bad. Gets little warm so we added a fan and a thermometer so we can tell the temperature to grow our vegetable garden. Its definitely not a one person job. I love it though its cute, and works pretty great for what i am using it for. Oh also added some magnetic screens to the roof windows so bugs wont come in as much. customer service was sorta helpful when i was trying to ask them about if i could replace the part that broke on the door when i was putting that together turns out their warehouse was closed; but they seemed willing to help even though they couldn't sense it was closed for holidays. oh well its up Im happy over all, it looks good for the price we paid over all. Update: added a magnetic screen to the front door to prevent bugs when leaving the doors open and allow more airflow. Might have to install an exhaust fan in the future to the back if you want more airflow so it doesn’t get too hot. So far the hottest it’s been inside is 101 degrees Fahrenheit with a spring day here in California. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a sturdy greenhouse if you build it right. It will be stronger if you add about 500 6mm washers under the many nuts and bolt heads (not included). Instructions have you hold it down with expansion bolts into the soil which seems near useless. Better to screw it onto a treated lumber base. Be warned that it's not a full 8x12. Actual exterior dimensions are 134 3/4" by 90 1/2". All measurements are in metric so you'll need math to get feet/inches. Instructions are very, very bad. Unhelpful part labeling, missing steps, drawings that lack important details. With better instructions it would take half as long, and require a quarter the brain power. Maybe the attached video will help. They desperately need a good tech writer who assembles a couple then makes 1/2/3 instructions. Plus some photos for tricky details, labels like "roof 2" instead of L02B. Up/inside/outside labels. When finished, it looks nice, performs well and seems durable. ... show more

This 8X12 greenhouse is the perfect size. I have my spring garden plants in there now. The ventilation is good with 4 roof vents. I was disappointed in that it didn't include at least one automatic roof vent opener. This product is very sturdy and has a lot of clips for tie downs. I had to have the holes in the clips drilled out a bit to accommodate the larger spike I wanted to use. we have had several very windy days, but no problems. It could include plant hanger clips or at least mention that you should insert then before the roof goes on. I'm very pleased with this greenhouse and would recommend it. I purchased this so that I would be able to put my blowup hot tub inside of it. I’m not gonna be using it as a greenhouse, but using the concept of a greenhouse to keep it warm in the winter for my hot tub. This thing is so stylish looking and it’s cute as it can be sitting there and even though my hot tub isn’t quite Set up yet, you can clearly see that it’s going to have plenty room for the hot tub plus a couple chairs and a long table where I can put a couple plants. It took two people 6 1/2 hours to completely assemble it, but that was because I had already pulled all the materials out of the box and put them in order by number so that they could access them easier so technically it could take an eight or 10 hour day. I think that not only does it look good but I walked out in 32° weather at 8 AM after the sun had been up for only an hour and inside was at least 30° warmer so I think it’s gonna be absolutely perfect for my needs. I’m pretty pleased with it right now. I read the directions the day before they assembled it and highlighted a few things such as using a mallet instead of a hammer and making sure the white paper was sticking out such details. Now you’ll see in my photos I actually left the white paper on two of the windows in the very front and I did this for privacy purposes but all the other windows I did go ahead and peel back all the white backing, and it’s looking good. ... show more

    • Seller is unresponsive to problems

I built this by myself, including ground prep and paver installation, in less than a week. The instructions are not real clear in a lot of instances. The end result was nice except there were some missing screws for the door that i cant find comperable replacements anywhere and a couple of broken parts. I have spent a month trying to get the seller to Even respond. When I finally got a response it was asking for the exact information I had already sent. Tired of dealing with this crap! The seller has responded but they have sent the wrong screws twice I have a greenhouse that I can't even hang the doors up on so it's worthless I've spent $1,000 for something I can't even use because they can't provide me the proper screws probably because that's why they were missing in the first place cuz they don't know what they're doing and they're just incompetent The only design flaw are the downspounts to the gutters. A 1 inch pipe will get clogged as soon as the rain washes leaves or any debris into the gutter. The smallest leaf clog this so the gutters overrun within minutes of rain starting. Poor design fail. Other than that it is a nice greenhouse. Just a complete fail on customer service. ... show more

I really like this little greenhouse. It's a great size for my garden. The only gripe I would have is the instructions for putting it together are a little vague. We had to take some items apart and reassemble a few times after finding out we put a bar the wrong way or we weren't told to put a screw somewhere for later. ... show more
