I think this set of bar tools is slightly better than fine. It is pretty good, but not great. The silver bottom on one of mine came off right out of the package ( I glued it back on and it is fine). The quality is fine for occasional use , but if you are a serious bar tender I would get a better quality set. The tools come in a plain black box- neither here nor there. We will be using these tools only for home use, and for that they are fine.

This “JNWINOG Bartender Kit” comes with 9 bar tools. Most of the wooden handles are hollow and lightweight. Along with the wood, the set is supposed to be made from stainless steel. However, the stainless steel is not marked and the pieces do not pass the magnet test. True stainless steel is non-magnetic, but most of these bar tools are magnetic. That said, I am not a metallurgist… The metal mesh on the strainer is not completely finished—wires stick out at the rim (see pic.). The “cheese knife” is shaped like a fish (see pic), and it is serrated and sharp. This set would be a good beginner bartender set for home use.

Everything about this set seems very good to me, except for the metal caps at the bottom of most of the tools; almost all of them have fallen off or came detached right from the box. However, it’s an easy fix with just some hot glue. Aside from that, the tools themselves seem like good quality and so far have served their purpose well!

There is nothing wrong with these. My issue is the wooden handles. They feel chea and weirdly sound holo. I know that sounds strange but what I am saying is they did not stand up to repeated washing without the finish coming off. For the price I think they would have been a slightly better build. If you are gentle with this they will work, but they did not feel good to me.
