I did expect this set of 6 hand tools to be of cheap manufacture and perhaps flimsy - just adequate for my wife to tend some potted herbs. I was wrong. The whole set is well made, attractive, sturdy, comfortable to use and impressively robust. All the tools are well designed and work well. The pruning shears are a little difficult for small hands to use but that is my only observation. The set comes in a convenient (well made) carrying bag with pockets for each tool and a pair off gloves (medium size) is included. It is hard to think of another small tool that any gardener would need and the set is certainly attractive enough to make a fine gift.

This set of tools will help any home gardener. The metal feels sturdy and that it would endure a lot of use. The handles are easy to grip and are just the right size for my hands. I would have liked a weed popper type tool, but the rake will have to suffice. I imagine this set will get a lot of use in the coming months.

This is a very good gardening set, the tools appear solid and sturdy. There are also a carrying bag and pair of garden gloves included in the set. Everything is very well packaged and appears to be in good quality. It’s approaching winter here so I haven’t got to fully tested out the tool yet but I’m looking forward to use them next summer.

I recently began gardening and needed all of the basic gardening tools. This set included all of the tools I wanted and some I didn’t realize that I needed. The tools are very well made. The rubber handles are comfortable to grip, making my gardening time more pleasant. The pruners are sharp and work well on my crops. The hand rake did a great job breaking up the clumps of soil. I don’t do any heavy duty gardening but this set works extremely well for the gardening that I do.

Unlike the photos on the product page which show an 8-piece gardening set, I ordered a 3-piece set which featured a rake and two spades, which is just what I needed. I have been looking for an inexpensive tool set for my kids to use in their sandbox. I've gotten tired of having their plastic tools constantly break and end up all over my yard (because why would kids ever think to throw the pieces in the trash?!). This set is sturdy and withstood the tests my kids put the tools through. While I am confident these would also work well for any gardening you might want to use them for, I am more than satisfied with how they performed in my sandbox!

These tools have lasted an entire season (so far), working on our raised beds and other yard locations with smaller plants and bushes. I'd characterize what we do as light to medium gardening. The grip is good on these tools, and the metal is sturdy and has held up well.

Didn't really expect these aluminum garden tools to be anything more than lightweight couple-season use implements like my former ones, but I was immediately impressed by the thickness and polished quality of the aluminum alloy and contoured grip handle which feels as if the metal shaft runs the full length (my previous tools obviously did not as they either broke or bent just inboard of where the blade meets the handle). The grip is a combo. of green hard plastic at the stress points while the black gripping surface is a slightly softer material which ensures this thing won't be sliding out of your hands even when wet.The narrow spade has 1" incremental depth markings thru 4", which would be handy for planting bulbs. Overall, a fine three piece gardening set, albeit the flimsy cardboard container will find its way to the recycling bin post-haste.
