I like the shorter length of these shorts. (Apparently, some reviewers don't.) The size chart was accurate. My only complaint, although minor, is that they are a little too "baggy" around the hips. But I'm still pleased with my purchase.

I got these shorts with the express intent of using them around the house to "chill out" in or as a "swim trunk" in the hot tub or just chilling on the side of the pool where JUST my wife and I do a private vacation, and I am less concerned about an inner liner. For my purposes, these shorts are perfect. Trying to remove my bias, I will also offer the following: ~The shorts are "short". They are great for a higher tan line by the pool; unsure how they will be when working out. ~I like the pattern. It feels retro to me; maybe I am just getting old. ~Regardless of how you use them, I find them comfortable, but I did "Size Up". I wear a 40, and I went with a 3XL / 42. It offers room to move. I would suggest the same if you are a bigger guy. Overall I recommend under the pretenses listed above.

I like wearing shorts, and I don’t usually like buying new clothes. That’s been a problem lately because I’ve lost 20 pounds in the past five months (and probably another 20 pounds before that since I purchased any shorts). That means that almost all of my shorts have been held up with a belt or suspenders this past summer. So, when I saw this pair of stretch shorts with a drawstring from JMIERR, I ordered them! I was a bit concerned about the length – I usually go with longer shorts, but I’m not concerned about this after wearing these. They are very comfortable and the legs, while not baggy are not tight either. I can squat down without any undue tightness or revelations. I like the colorful design on the pockets. What I really like about the pockets is that they are deep enough to hold my phone without it falling out. Why would anyone ever make pockets that are so shallow they can’t hold anything? These are made to hold things. The fabric is very thin but not see-through in any way. I haven’t gotten them wet, but you can tell that it would dry quickly. The fabric itself is smooth and comfortable and it stretches easily when I move. I’m glad that I have these.

XL is a comfortable and just right fit, for me. If I were just a bit bigger, I would definitely go for a size bigger. So if you're on the fence between sizes, go bigger. Plenty of leg movement without constriction. While it certainly could be used at the gym, I think it's best for beach or pool side. The material feels most like a bathing suit, hence its "quick dry". This is how I plan to wear them. Comfortable and an easy 5 star for fit & fashion.

I am 6', and 200 lbs. The size large is a good fit. The light grey fabric is attractive and has good stretch to it. I like the colorful pocket accents. Speaking of pockets, they are nice and need which I like as things won't fall out so easily when seated. The shorts have a full elastic waist band which allows for a lot of movement. The draw string is long enough and has solid tips to keep it from fraying. They are machine washable, but it is recommended that they not be machine dried in order to preserve the elasticity of the fabric. I like these shorts and recommend them, though I do wish that they were a bit longer. The inseam is a meager 5", which is pretty short, and rides up further when seated. Seven inches would have been better.

These shorts are very nice. They are true to size, made of 90% polymide and 10% elastine, anti-wrinkle, and breathable. The material has a really nice feel to it, and the contrast material on the pockets gives them a unique look. The inside of the pockets has a nice heavy material, and the shorts feature an elastic waist with tie. Nice, comfortable pair of shorts!!
