Purchased for the ZV1 Mk2 and unlike a lot of other grips, this provides just enough size to get a better handle on the camera without adding a huge amount of bulk. Especially useful if you don’t want to carry around a very noticeable or intimidating camera rig. It packs almost every feature you’d want in the smallest space possible. Not only does it center the tripod mount, it also keeps the battery door accessible. There’s a built in swiss mount, a single cold shoe and an additional 1/4” thread on the side. It could stand to have one more hole on the other side but besides that it’s very efficient. Love the magnetic “flat head screwdriver”, very useful for tightening down screws instead of carrying around a quarter that you might accidentally spend. Its not the strongest of fit on the body but I’m confident its sturdy enough semi-professional work. There’s not a ton of options for the Mk2 but this is I feel a great combination of features, size and price.

I found this to be a must have item for Sony RX camera owners that have larger or even arthritic hands. This allows users to hold this compact camera easily and securely without worrying about slippage while taking pictures or worse falling out of your hand and destroying a very costly camera. This attaches simply with one small screw and another to assist with keeping it in place, well constructed of lightweight alloy. Also allows same access to battery and SD card panel. Well worth the sub $30 price!

This gadget does make my rx100iii nicer to hold, and it improves the tripod screw mount's position, and it does not block any of the functions of the camera (it even has a hole so that the microphone isn't covered up). It also provides some solid protection to the bottom of the camera, which is welcome. These little rx100s are kind of delicate. What it doesn't do is fit very well, A problem that I am getting around by adding some double-sided tape so that it doesn't wobble when attached (see picture). I am going to live with that, but I wouldn't have bought it if I could have seen how it fits first. It also makes the battery/SD card door somewhat harder to open. I'll live with for now, too.
