The JJC Deluxe Microfiber Camera Hand Strap is a perfect alternative if you dislike using neck straps but still providing added protection from your camera slipping and falling to the ground. The JJC Hand Strap attaches to camera from the bottom by using a base plate that screws into your tripod's socket. The screw on the base plate has a half circle ring on the screw for easy installation. A flat head screw driver can also be used to tighten. When you initially adjust the straps to fit your hands, your thoughts are to make sure it's snug and tight enough so the camera doesn't slip from your hands. Unfortunately, if the straps are too tight or snug, you will lose your hand movement around the buttons and controls of your camera. I would suggest to make the straps loose enough so your hand has total movement and control over your camera's buttons, but still safe enough that if your camera accidentally slips, it will not just fall to the ground (see uploaded pics). **What is important is that the wrist strap is fastened around your wrist at all times. The wrist strap is what will actually prevent the camera from falling to the ground and damaging your camera.** The overall comfort of the JJC Hand Strap is great. The hand cushion is comfortable, well padded, and breathable. The hand strap does relieve hand fatigue from shooting and gives you a bit more confidence that your camera is secured to your hand. The base plate does not interfere with my camera's battery door which is great. Lastly, the base plate has an eyelet so you can attach a sling strap with a quick-release carabiner. This is great as it provides another option to carry your camera without removing the existing base plate. The material is soft and made out of top quality material. You can tell it's going to last a long time. Very easy to install and helped with my fatigue in my hand. The camera literally feels like it's part of your body It sort of hard to explain but you must add this to your gear. I can tell you I purchase a lot of camera accessories in different types of things in the past few years and this is one of those items that is very important and didn't even think it would be so much helpful yet it's so simple. I'll be buying two more for my other camera bodies. Goodbye neck straps.

Very good quality, well-made, and usable especially for being such a good cheap price. The outside material is leather or a leather like material with nice red stitching. The inside material is a breathable cushioned microfiber-like material that is really comfortable against the hand. It makes it very comfortable for shooting with a firm grip on your hand where you cannot drop the camera even if you let go the camera stays attached to your hand. I was wondering if this would be better than a neck strap and it definitely is and makes it much more accessible for quick and fast access especially when on a shoot. I really appreciate that. They included a metal tripod connector as the bottom attachment to the camera. This way you can just set your camera in a square tripod connector and use what's already on the camera. That connector also has a Rotating loop attachment so that you could easily attach a strap to the bottom. I definitely recommend and I'm very happy with this product so far!

This is my second hand-strap since my first one ripped. I just installed it to my Nikon D7500 so this may be premature, but in comparison this one is so much better! + also has a wrist strap providing extra reassurance while allowing the hand strap to be looser for more dexterity + microfiber material - much more comfortable than typical cheap nylon or fake leather + strap installation - relatively simple compared to others, no degree needed + good value I've purchase other camera accessories from JCC which have also been solid and expect the same from this one.

I was looking for a more secure hand strap style strap for my Fuji XT3. Currently have a single point attach, looped hand strap and as much as I like how minimal it is, I'm not a fan of the camera having so much dangle from my grip. The JJC strap is built well. Time may not be kind to the materials, but in all, construction was sound. However, I didn't realize until I attached it to my camera that this particular style will not work with how I hold the camera. I have a tendency to wrap my index finger over the top of the camera to press the shutter release. With the looped hand strap there is adequate slack to allow my finger to reach over. With the JJC, though, since it's more secured at the wrist, the strap prevents the finger from wrapping over the top of the camera body. As I am an old dog that will not be learning this new trick, I returned the JJC - but only for this reason. Otherwise it seemed a decent strap comparable in manufacture to other well rated straps on the market.
