We also didn't want the normal kitchen mats, but instead, something that covered the entire space with one fell swoop. I was looking for a rug to use in our fifth wheel to save some wear and tear on the floors, but wanted something pretty. Also needed it to be washable as we have two dachshunds that although housebroken, may have an accident. I read a lot of reviews that it is more a mat than a rug, which is again perfect for the use intended. It is thin, but I doubt a rug this size would fit in the washer if it was thick. I would buy this rug again should I need to replace it. It is attractive and strong, makes a good rug for the back entry, catches the dirt, and with some effort, it vacuums up perfectly clean. The 2 dogs, at times, seem to drag in more dirt than imagined, even though they have a grassy yard and concrete walks and covered concrete patio. I was very skeptical of such a light colored entry rug but this matched so perfectly with our area rugs that I had to give it a try for a side door where regular door mats just didn’t look right. With four big dogs coming in and out all day it gets lots of dirt. Most of it comes right out with a vaccuum. Now and then a quick pass with a damp cloth is needed for a particularly muddy spot. It’s beautiful, soft and easy to clean. I only wish it had a better grip as it slides a little but that’s minor. ... show more

Beautiful rug. The soft colors are perfect and there is some grip to the back so it doesn’t slide. It came folded which was nice because it required no box. The folds flatten out pretty fast. This rug is thin so doors will go right over it with no problem.

It's very nice to walk on. We recently got a new puppy and of there was an accident. We discovered that the rug was not only easy to clean but waterproof. The floor was completely protected. The rug stays put in heavy traffic and shows no wear or tear.
