    • Absolute garbage
I build machines for a living, my wife ordered these as she liked the look. I disliked the following. 1. The hardware sent was not correct. I received hex head bolts when should have been threaded shafts with a separate nut. They were tossed loose in the box not even in a bag so scratched up the brackets themselves. Awesome! Had to spend $60 on Tapcon 3/8” x 3” concrete screw anchors. 2. There is so much space (1/2”-5/8“) around each post inside the brackets you end up having to shim them all using scrap cuts from the 4x4’s (coaster thickness, and inserting on top and outside to allow bottom and inner contact edges to be firm and secure. I attempted to screw without shims and the cheap poor quality weld snapped on a bracket instantly. 3. The screws sent to secure wood to brackets are garbage and also the wrong type for the application. A hex hed lag screw would allow for a flush Mount whereas the ones sent can’t fully seat as the holes drilled in the bracket are not counter sunk. 4. You end up with sunk in brackets with scrapes all over them as they are sent poorly wrapped. Ended up having to repaint them as they looked terrible. 5. The lack of customer support. When attempting to contact for some sort of reimbursement as to the quality being terrible and having to purchase my own hardware to do the job no response ever came. Save yourself the headache and buy any other brand of Pergola kit brackets. These are trash. Still waiting on a response from these guys… ... show more

    • A little pricey
Very nice quality, made the pergola go together really easy. definitely strong, but there were a few chips in the finish and a drip inside the one conner bracket when they welded it. can't get to it to chisel it out so one post is just a little crooked. no one else sees it but i know it's there

    • Not best fit for standard 4x4 posts
I read a few posts talking about excess gap when inserting post. I hoped was not true and took a chance. Well I was wrong. I had the same issue. The opening is not 3.6 as stated in details. I had huge problem with the gaps on my build and trying to square up my double wide pergola. Now that I had it all assembled I have to go back and remove every bolt and try to require with angled cross supports. The gao is so extensive that the hardware had to bend to grab the wood tight so does not look super well. My posts were standard 4x4 which are finished at 3.5in. Also don’t recommend the screws that come with this kit. Very wimpy for such a large structure. I used 1/4in X 2 in lag screws which were like $75 from Home Depot. ... show more

Very disappointing products. Low-quality metal that begins rusting automatically if left outside for just 2 days. Extremely thin metal that breaks easily under minimal pressure, such as with 4-inch lumber. Additionally, they do not fit properly in size-to-size connections. Please avoid purchasing anything from this seller. There are better and more affordable products made in the USA that you can easily find through a Google search. ... show more
