Description

With just the right appeal for young kids and a 3-in-1 functionality that caters to all stages of toddlerhood, this rechargeable electric ride-on car is a toy that tykes can grow through. It starts as a swap-in for stroller time: Parents can push the car manually from behind using the attached handlebar while young riders pretend to steer and wave to everyone they pass. As they grow, give them the electric riding experience while still keeping in control of movement by steering them along with the parental over-ride remote control. When they’re ready for riding independence, let them take control and make moves themselves using the accelerator pedal, steering wheel, and forward/reverse direction switch. It’s real driving excitement at speeds that excite them – but also allow you to keep up when walking alongside: 3mph in the high setting and 2 mph in low. At any time, jump in on the remote control to override movement. Battery charge indicator lights let you know when it’s time to recharge. An adjustable seatbelt, car sounds activation with volume adjustment, LED headlights, and usable doors round out features. The Jetson Mako is recommended for kids ages 2 to 4.

  • Toddler Ride Along Electronic Car
The media could not be loaded. So I’m not going to lie, this wasn’t the easiest to assemble but keep in mind I did do it by myself and I did end up getting it done!😁 After getting it together, I found the quality to be very nice and sturdy. I absolutely love the color and all of the little details, like the working doors, horn and lights as well as the seat belt for added safety. My 1 year old son has so much fun just riding back and forth in our living room, although we do bring it outdoors as well and it handles going over our broken down city sidewalks better than expected. Taking the corners are a bit tight but pretty easy to manage with the parent controls. The charge last for an hour or more which is plenty of time for a toddler and when the battery does die there’s a handle for some physical pushing💪🏼 I’d say this little car was the perfect purchase and definitely worth every penny! Keep in mind though that it is small and meant for toddlers not a 5 or 6 year old. ... show more

  • Well worth the cost!!!
This is the coolest little car! Took some time to assemble but so worth it. The engine revs, the lights work, it honks etc. We'll worth the price! It also has a remote control to drive the car around. Lol

  • Being in control
It was easy to assemble and nice for walks. I liked how I was able to control it while walking! Steering wasn’t bad. It does take a little bit of room though for storage. Not bad!

  • Both toddlers couldn't wait to use this! This is perfect for Mom to push the younger one in.
. The older 2 year old toddler already has a car. When he saw another car come home, he couldn't wait to try it out. He was climbing in it as we were building it. . But this car will be used for the younger 1 year old toddler. She was also climbing all over it, trying to get a turn to use it. She's too young to drive it herself. But Mom can push her in it. Mom can also use the remote control on the handle-bar mount, to save her strength. The remote control attaches to the handle bar. It can be operated with one hand. . The peddles are the perfect distance to be reached by the legs of a 2 year old. The 2 year old can drive it himself, with a parent over-seeing, and over-riding the controls in case he makes a bad turn. . This has lithium Ion batteries. They are fragile. Do not leave this vehicle outside in the sun, or they could overheat and explode. Do not leave this outside in the winter. Freezing weather also can damage the battery leading to an explosion at some point. Do not let this get wet in the rain. It must be stored inside in normal house temperatures, in a dry spot that will not flood. . A booklet is included describing use of the battery. The battery must be charged for a full twelve hours before the first use. If your kids can't wait, push the car manually, with them in it, until you have a chance to charge the battery. . The remote control needs two AAA batteries. These are not included. You should buy them in advance to fully use your car. If you want your kids to enjoy this immediately for a birthday party or present, charge the battery ahead of time, and assemble it ahead of time. . We had trouble installing the steering wheel. The shaft hole was below the steering wheel hole. We could not insert the pin. Dad had to reach underneath the car, find the shaft, and ram it up as high as he could, to raise up the shaft hole. He finally got it up high enough to stick the pin in. . Other than that one problem, assembly was fairly easy. . It is so versatile, having 3 modes of operation: (1) manual push and steer with the handle bar, (2) remote control, and (3) toddler driving using the peddle and steering wheel. I know it is advertised for 2-4 year olds. But if we shut off the battery, Mom can push the one year old in it, the same way she pushes her in a stroller. And the one year old LOVES it! The two year old can drive it himself. He can use it for a year or two, until he exceeds the 40# weight limit. By then the one year old will have turned two. Then she can drive it. . RATING: The kids LOVE it! You should see how excited they both were to get in it. Mom and Dad are happy with it being so versatile. 5 STARS! ... show more

  • Uncle Approved, Niece Loved it!
My niece absolutely loved this car as much as I loved watching her drive it. She figured it out and started driving before I even finished learning the controls! It’s surprisingly stable on tight turns and small bumps, and I felt at ease knowing I could take control at any time using the remote. Assembly took a bit of time, but the end result was totally worth it. The engine sounds, lights, and horn make it feel like a real car. It’s fun, safe, and stylish, everything you’d want in a ride-on for a toddler. ... show more

  • So much fun for the kids
Oh my goodness this is such a cute electric car for toddlers! I got this as a gift for my niece and nephew. I assembled it and it's ready to go for their visit! The cuteness is too much! Building it wasn't difficult and definitely worth getting for the small amount of assembly. I would have loved this as a kid! It isn't noisy or overly loud. It's just adorable! Seems powerful but not too fast. ... show more

  • Awesome grow with me ride on car!
This is a great little car that can really grow with your child as they gain more and more independence (unlike a traditional electric kids car that may have 2 speed settings but really isn't designed to start too young). When you start out (where my little one is now), it's a simple push car - as in the adult is behind, pushing it much like a stroller - but a FUN stroller that looks like a car! When your little one gets just a touch older, you can remove the push bar and use the car as a sort of oversized remote control car with the included remote, allowing you to drive it with the electric motors remotely. So you can drive you child around a park / parking lot / etc. without touch the car at all (a lovely feature for hills!) - of course, do be wary and not drive out of the line of sight! And then when they get a bit older still / more ready, they can drive the car all by themselves - it's easy to drive and limited to 3mph which is a reasonable walking speed (so it's not fast, but also not too fast for little ones). The car was easy to assemble and get up and going and does seem to be fairly well built. It should last through several kids usages though that may depend on how good a driver they are (or the parent is)! I like the fun light up headlights especially for summer evening strolls yet to come. The only real downsides are that the box is VERY heavy (of course it is) and the batteries don't give a super long runtime before needing a charge. But this isn't meant to be a long distance electric vehicle after all and the runtime is sufficient for reasonable walks / play sessions. So if all that sounds good to you, give this Jetson Mako a try today! ... show more
