I love the over the top side entry jackets. I don’t have that annoying zipper in the front. I wish it had a zipper keeper. The zipper on this one does tend to fall a bit, and then it digs into my arm. The other thing I would change is to add a strap keeper on the side opposite of the zipper. It can slide down and off the jacket.

Top Notch, perfect Impact Vest/PFD hybrid.

I was shopping for something i could use as impact vest but also an USCG approved PFD for the peace of mind since i will be using to efoil. Ended up choosing this one (even though i really wanted something with pockets which it does not have) and honestly EXTREAMLY pleased. Fit is perfect, i am 5'9 155 lbs. and large fits me like a glove, snug with the zipper, but can further tighten with clips if desired. Its like a second skin, probably what impact vest feels like mobility wise, yet i have the peace of mind that i will float. Quality is top notch (you get what you pay for kind of thing). I've already had some pretty nasty wipeouts, where i could tell it acted better than an impact vest, where without it the wind would've been knocked out of me, probably accompanied by some bruising, the padding does its job, without feeling bulky. When wiping out and hitting the water hard, vest doesn't rise or get in the way of efficiently swimming back to your board or whatever you're doing, stays in place and excellent buoyancy. 5 out 5 product, if you're on the fence, buy it. Perfect hybrid of impact vest and PFD, and USCG approved is a plus if using it in places where its required (why wouldn't you want an approved PFD if you are buying one anyways). Also dries out pretty quickly after rinsing it, so breathability would be great in hotter climates (I use it in cold water/weather over a wetsuit).
