First time ever of putting on a protective phone cover that did not have bubbles! I can’t believe it. The instructions to put it on were very clear; although they left out the instructions to remove the glass film before sticking it to the phone, but this is a no brainer common sense thing. I’ve never had the privacy cover before and I will only get this type cover from now on. Now my coworker cannot look at what I have on my phone as she stands over me while I search for something.     • Very good privacy
This was purchased as a gift. After it came in, I installed it on that person’s phone. I didn’t get any bubbles or dust behind it when installing the protector, so it fits nice and flush on the screen. I read something about steaming up a bathroom once, not super wet, but just make it moist, then install your screen protectors. The moisture just keeps dust from floating around so you don’t get the bubbles or dust in between the protector and the screen. The screen is easy to see, but we did have to turn the brightness up on the phone because it does have a darker tint, which is no big deal since the brightness was only set at like half before that. I’ve viewed it outside with no visibility issues and I’ve never heard the person I bought it for complain about not being able to see it outdoors. From a privacy perspective, it’s decent. If you’re standing behind the person or kind of shoulder to shoulder, it’s kind of easy to see the screen. If you’re standing a bit further away though, you can see the light on the screen, but not what the person is doing on the screen. If you’re on an airplane, I think it would be hit or miss as to whether the person sitting next to you could see your screen or not. There are zero issues with the touch screen. I have a newer model iPhone without a screen protector and the touch sensitivity on my phone is worse than the phone with the protector. I would recommend this for anyone else. It’s a screen protector with decent privacy, and if I had to replace the screen protector for the person I bought this for again, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this one again. ... show more

Better than I expected! My phone screen is blurry/hard to see if you’re standing to the side, but it’s clear when directly in front. The screen is smooth when I type and swipe, feels like a new phone! Love that the new package comes with 2. I’m pretty careful with my phone so I’m expecting this to last me a while.     • Not that private or a protector
The box comes with two and instructions that says if there’s any bubbles to gently raise the corner, and the bubbles will disappear. I didn’t press the protector on yet, and there were a couple bubbles so I lifted the corner as instructions said being very careful to not bed or warp it, removed the bubble, and when I placed it back down and pressed the corner that I pulled off, it no longer adhered tightly. No matter what I did. It remained with the air pocket underneath so it basically was ruined by following the instructions. Bummer about that so I ended up removing the entire protector and throwing it away and trying the second one. This time with the second one, I just accepted the one tiny bubble underneath, in fear of ruining it again. Got it on and tested it out turning the phone and looking from the side profile. It begins to disappear with the black screen but it completely reappears and shows at a certain angle, defeating the privacy feature. I guess at that point you get what you paid for. If you’re not too particular about it being completely private, then it is decent for the money considered. In my opinion it just completely contradicts itself, and can still see everything on the screen. I would like it to be hidden from every angle. ... show more
