I’ve always been a fan of using protective covers for expensive tech products. While the Apple iPads have a degree of “built-in” durability, they are still subject to damage with everyday use. I purchased a similar cover for my first Apple iPad (Gen 4) and was glad that I did so. Personal experience and knowledge of what can occur made for an easy decision when I got my second iPad (an Air 2). The JETech case (for iPad Air 2) has, so far, been performing as expected. The screen cover puts the Air 2 to “sleep” when closed and “wakes” it up when opened. It seems (feels) like it is durably made and my iPad fits snuggly but is easily removed if necessary. It adds very little dimensional size or weight to the sleekness of the Air 2. The sleekness and reduced weight of the Air 2 are a bit of a detriment as the polished metal skin and light weight allow the tablet to slip or slide easily on most surfaces and increase the chances for being dropped. The JETech case reduces this possibility AND provides a level of protection if a “drop” does occur! Double bonus 👍. The only detractor that I might have is that the matte finish of the case does allow for some smudging and fingerprinting from skin oil. It is easily remedied with any basic tech product cleaner but thought that I’d mention it. The JETech cases are very reasonably priced and shipping was prompt. With product registration, you get a Lifetime Warranty but I’m hoping that I won’t need to request it. My experience with the JETech case for my Air2 has been excellent and makes it easy to recommend this product to others looking to protect their expensive Apple iPad!

JETech makes excellent products. Got screen protectors and phone casing from this brand, they’re holding up well until now. This ipad casing is sturdy and fits the ipad perfectly, love the slim and simple design. Great value for the price.

Quality: Very good compared to the name brand product Price: Excellent, especially compared to what you'd pay for the name brand version Pros: Sleek, perfect fit on Air 2, great price compared to the fruit store model Cons: Very minimalist if you're prone to clumsiness and might drop your device I purchased this iPad case in gray, but other colors might stand out more and be easier to find, so I would definitely consider another color if I were you! This is a very nice case if you don't need something too rugged or protective. If you carry your iPad around a lot or frequently risk dropping it on hard surfaces, though, I would not recommend it. It will keep it from getting minor scratches, but I don't think it's going to prevent it from getting damaged when dropped. I use my iPad in the house for the most part, and it is mostly carpeted, so this works for me. The iPad Air 2 is significantly thinner and lighter if you're upgrading from an earlier model (1-4), so you'll be amazed at its size and weight. That's why I think a thicker case would be a better choice for me personally. But this case will be great if you just want to slide your iPad into your bag or briefcase. It will hardly take up any space. Again, though, don't drop it on a tile floor or on the pavement! The flap is "smart" and folds over your screen, which turns on and off according to what the flap is doing (turns on when you open, off when you close), so that gives some nice screen protection. Overall this is a fine case, especially if you're used to an expensive case from the BIG store. Just don't expect it to give rugged-type protection. I hope you found this review helpful.

This iPad case is absolutely beautiful—sleek design, nice color, and it looks very stylish. I was really impressed when I first received it. However, after a short period of use, the faux leather started peeling off, which was disappointing. I expected it to hold up better with regular use. It still offers decent protection, but the peeling takes away from the overall look and quality.
