I bought this iPad protective case originally back in 2017 and it worked well for seven years. This last week I had a little accident when I was getting things loaded into the car and I set my pad on top of the car and forgot about it. I drove out of the subdivision onto a major thoroughfare and at about 45 mph I heard a noise, and thought what was that! I looked between the seats where I usually set my pad and it wasn’t there. I checked the rear view mirror and saw my pad land on the road. I turned around and parked in the left turn lane and retrieved it off the road. It had one set of tire tracks on a third of the back cover. The only damage that occurred was the screen saver had been shattered, some scratches on the case and I lost the front cover. Additionally, the cover doesn’t always stay closed firmly, so it occasionally opens when stored in a bag.
