The universal gearbox allows inch, metric, diametral, and module pitch threads with no change of gears required. The carriage features one-shot lubrication, Turcite-B on bed sliding surfaces, and five position automatic carriage stops to increase productivity. The T-slotted compound slide features a four-way tool post. A removable gap allows up to 23-5/8" diameter work. The high quality ANSI Class 50 wear-resistant cast iron bed ways are hardened and ground, while the one-piece cast iron base absorbs vibration allowing for heavier cuts. ISO 9001 certified manufacturer.
