    • Saw far saw good!
Easy to assemble with 2 people. Works great so far! The reducer for the vacuum system that I and others bought did not slip into the dust port. I just duct tapped it to it and it works fine.

It constantly overheats and has very little power. I'm a finish carpenter and have used allot of saws, this is the worst i've used.

    • Horrible Customer Support and Poor Quality
First, I'll admit I bought from Rockler not Amazon, but I do most of my business with Amazon, so I wanted to share my experience. I've had my saw now for 4 years and it is just horrible and customer support does everything they can to avoid having to fix the problem. It started trying to align the table to the blade. If you loosen the table (3 screws) and rotate it all the way, I am still 0.006" off from being aligned. The blade arbor was oversized when I bought it and I had to file the end down so I could fit on my Forrest blades which have fit on every other saw I've owned. Next, the thermal cutout switch on the motor keeps tripping and eventually gets worse and needs to be replaced. Instead of helping with the underlying problem, Jet just sends me new cutout switches. Finally, I just updated my breaker panel to the modern AFCI standard and now the table saw trips the AFCI breakers any time I turn it on. I have tried it on multiple circuits and it trips all breakers. Until I can purchase a new tablesaw, I'm taking the risk and have replaced my breaker with a traditional non-AFCI breaker which will get me by until I get a new saw. ... show more

I bought this saw for my home workshop. It is heavy and you will need assistance moving the main package. Thanks to the driver for his help. Assembly time is 2-3 hours if you take your time. I am a quality professional and I was impressed with the ease of assembly and factory set up. Once assembled everythig was square. The saw required no adjustmens with the table, fence or blade. Squareness was within 1/2 degree in all directions. When received the table insert was cracked. I called Walter Meier and they shipped a new one without any question.
