These chunky heels are absolutely adorable & I wanted to love them. However, they're extremely uncomfortable. And I don't just mean the usual discomfort of wearing heels. I'm talking next level uncomfortable. The sizing is accurate, but the flap over my foot is incredibly stiff & narrow. Whether you have average or slender feet, they're too tight! Definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone with wide feet. Not only are they tight, but the front edge of the flap is awkwardly placed right on top of the cuticle line of my toe. So when I walk, it digs right into my toe, applying crazy pressure & pulling my cuticle back every time I take a step.. As well-made as they are, they have a hard sole that doesn't flex...at all. It's like walking on concrete bricks & prevents you from walking normally. You must pick your whole foot up each time you step. Visualize a horse prancing 😂. I've mastered the art of strutting in heels in my 35+ years, but this is absurd. I couldn't help but burst out laughing at how ridiculous I must've looked. Just walking around my own house was a pain-inducing ordeal. Yeah they're cute, but they belong on display, not on my feet. It's unfortunate too because I can feel & see the beautiful, high-quality craftsmanship that went into making these shoes. Doesn't mean much if I can't wear them. This is a hard pass for me.

I do love the overall look of these Jessica Simpson Women's Kashet Sandal-Platforms; the black, faux leather snake pattern is beautiful, they are lightweight, the chunky heel would make them easy to walk in, but they are made way too narrow. My daughter, who wears the same shoe size as me, but has a much more skinnier foot, tried these on and she experienced the same problem, as she could barely get her foot to fit inside.

These black mules are very cute but very stiff. I normally don't have a wide foot but the opening to slide your foot in is slightly narrow so it takes me a minute to get them on. They have cusion but because they are stiff, they aren't very comfortable or easy for me to walk in. I feel no comfort. They look like they are made very well and I love the black metallic snake color and style. The heel is a blocky heel which you would think adds a lot of weight but, Suprisingly, they are pretty lightweight. I know at times we choose fashion over comfort and unfortunately, I can't even do that because I can't even get my foot all the way in.
