Description

In 1963, a leather craftsman by the name of Sante Mazzarolo brought forth a future icon. Based in the small Northern Italy town of Asolo and with the perennial Alpine star flower as its namesake, Mr. Mazzarolo began producing the first products bearing the Alpinestars moniker. At that time a new sport called motocross was establishing itself and becoming quite popular across Europe. Very much aware of the sport, Sante realized an opportunity to apply his talents and technical acumen to design a new type of footwear that would meet the protective needs and demands of this beautiful yet brutal form of athleticism. The revolutionary boot that Mr. Mazzarolo produced would become an archetype for motocross protection.

These gloves fit perfectly snug but not tight and the size small is just right for my hands with excellent flexibility. Right out of the box they feel high quality and the materials are sturdy yet comfortable, and the construction feels like it’s built to last. On the road, they offer great protection without sacrificing dexterity, so shifting and braking feel natural. The added knuckle protection gives me peace of mind, and the breathable fabric keeps my hands cool even on longer rides. I also love the style, sporty and sleek, they look as good as they perform. These gloves incredible. I can still use my phone with the gloves on. They keep my hands warm with this crazy Texas weather we get. Sizing is perfect as well. Velcro seems durable that wraps around your wrist. They are very light weight and strong. I’m hoping to never have to test them out if the bike gets dropped, but if I do then I feel like it’ll protect my hands. Be safe out there riders. ... show more

Freaking love these things! The orange pops amazingly, is SUPER comfortable and fits great, looks cool, is leather, and good quality and super durable as always from Alpinestars. I do love that it is touchscreen compatible so I don’t have to take them off to change music or text during a ride. I’ve been wearing them DAILY on rides to and from work as well as canyon riding for nearly a 7 months now and looks almost new still because of how great they are. These are soft pad sliders so that’s the only downside, but still amazing for the money, would buy 2 more pairs if I had the money and outfits!! ... show more

Amazing gauntlets that will last you longer than your interest for bikes. A lifetime! Ive been using these for 3 years, and haven’t had a single issue with them. Great bang for the buck, as you get a pair of strong and reliable gauntlets from a reputable brand without paying more than 200. If you’re considering to buy a pair of gauntlets, do yourself a service and get a pair of these. I’ve gone down with these, tore em up a little bit, and they’re still in great condition. I can type on my phone just fine with these, but the only thing that matters in a pair of gauntlets is to serve as protection. Get em!! My palm size put me in the middle of two different glove sizes. Went with the smaller of the two which was snug at first but stretched out just enough to be a perfect fit. I ride with these gloves 4-5 times a week and they are holding up solid. Doesn't get much warmer than 80° around here and at that temperature these gloves remain comfortable. While the safety rating is not to track specs I'm certainly confident that the features that these gloves possess will be more than adequate if ever needed for protection on the street. Fit well according to sizing chart, fingers are a bit long but i don’t mind(makes touchscreen a little hard but still works). Material feels good, thick like leather! keeps my hands warm but not sweaty even on hot days! feel sturdy and protected!

These gloves are really well-made. The kangaroo leather and padding are top-notch. The velcro straps keep them on your hands tight. The knuckle guards are hard plastic and float over your knuckles. The stitching is solid and shouldn't rip if you crash. They fit snugly but not too tight when I got them. I'm wearing them in hot weather, but they don't feel stuffy. They're warm, and I sweat a little, but it helps break them in. They're a good deal, and I feel safe using them to protect my hands. ... show more
