Great lights! Easy to install with the adhesive tape included on the back of the lights. The adhesive was perfect for the weight of the lights. (After I figured out at first I was starting to pull off backing and adhesive tape, LOL) I applied them to the bare wood (after a good cleaning) and they held. Very bright and very white. But when I put them side by side, I realized the other brand's led is only 1/2 size of this one. This one's quality is better than other brand, and price are the same. The product is really good. Lights up well and has a good color, especially if you're looking for that nice warm look. I gave it 4 stars instead of the 5 because, although it works well, there's 2 sets that work in tandem with each other but only really work easily if you do a straight run with no breaks. I wanted it for closet lighting so it made it impossible to work with. I did a ton of cutting and soldering. Not impossible but took a long time for a guy like myself who really could only work on it an hour or 2 a day. So in that aspect, pretty annoying even though self induced lol. These strips are the best. I used this and connected it to my other lights. They are easy to connect to preexisting lights or to use and make new light shows. Its simple to install you just peel the back and stick where you want it to go. If its too big you can cut the end or you can wrap it twice. It has so many color options. ... show more

The splitter didn't make sense in my space, this seller did not offer a separate adapter for sale, so I bought one from a third party. I plugged in the light coil to test the adapter. It was plugged in for less than 5 minutes and overheated to the point of softening (melting) the plastic coil. I was able to use one light string under kitchen cabinets with the included adapter. It did not adhere, so I had to buy separate adhesive clips (I didn't want to use nailed clips). It's worth the price if you use the splitter, but I wish I had bought something else. ... show more
