Assembly was easy, though you will likely need two people for the final step, but the rest of it was no problem to complete solo. All the parts and hardware are well organized and labeled and the instructions are clear. Everything fit where it was supposed to and lined up. I was also impressed with the quality of the wood and all the little details, including wooden caps to cover some of the bolt holes, which is was a nice touch that seems to be pretty uncommon now. Quality wood, sturdy! Easy to put together, because great instructions were included. Exactly what I was looking for. Customer service is above and beyond. I want to thank the customer service team for the quick replies and continued support. It is nice to know that customer care still exists! (The delivery company, accidentally delivered to the wrong place. No fault of the seller) I have a small 800 sq ft home, so the bedrooms are small, just a bit bigger then a California Queen bed. My office/guest room was too crowded for my desk and a queen size bed. This full size futon and frame fits perfectly to create an office feel for day to day use. Beautiful piece of furniture!! Great quality and easy directions/assembly, and super easy to switch from couch to bed/vice versa. Rating 4 stars because, as I've seen on other sites, the frame is much more gray than brown as was the mattress, and because the hardware was broken open and missing a 2 critical parts. Fortunately I was able to pick up similar hardware at Home Depot to make it work since I didn't care to call customer service for a single bolt and nut. I was very surprised at the quality of this futon. The wood is great, all predrilled holes lined up, hardware went in easily, and the mattress very comfortable. The instructions are step by step pictures and very easy to follow. I do have experience assembling furniture but believe most people would be able to assemble this futon. The only drawback is converting from a bed back to a sofa with the mattress on it. I’m sure eventually I’ll get a hang of it. ... show more

Very good assembling instructions. I was able to do everything by myself except for the last step when I needed two extra hands to help me install the mattress fame into the sofa arms. This step is also the only step for which I had to watch the video. The color coding and pictures of the written instructions made the whole process very easy. Simple, good looking frame. Nice and firm mattress. Time will tell if it wears out well. Easy to turn into a bed but hard to turn back into a sofa. Very satisfied so far. ... show more

Have had for a couple years now and is so comfy to sit/sleep on. One of the better futons for sure! It can be a little complicated to put back into the couch position with just one person but easier to do with 2 people.

We ordered 2 identical futons on the Oak frame. The directions and parts were very clearly labeled and understandable. We had both put up and together in one evening. They are the current sitting furniture in my upstairs living room, and I absolutely LOVE them! I cannot sing their praises more! My parents are even going to be ordering when they get their living room remodeled, they were so impressed. The mattresses are firm, but soft. It is clear they will last for years to come.
