I help with costumes for our local highschool musicals and this year we had a couple of ball gowns that just looked dull and washed out on stage. I edged the "V" neckline of one dress and the edge of a belt on another. It made a huge difference. It was just enough sparkle to set the dresses off. It was fairly easy to hand sew the trim.
