I had never tried to remove dents at home before but it seems like I get them more and more often lately. It is frustrating, especially when the dent is relatively large and whomever did it had left the parking lot long ago. We have dash cams and rear cams? It is ridiculous that people can't just be honest - or at least be more careful opening their doors in parking lots. Anyway, my husband decided to get the rather large dent out of the car door that was gifted to us a few months ago. In the past he has tried the big suction cup dent remover and for certain dents, at certain angles that works; but when there is a spot that is really bent, this kit works fantastically! It takes a little getting used to, and I am sure it becomes an art form of sorts, but for what we needed it worked great! He did find that heating the metal helped a great deal with the ease of correcting the problem. My husband is also the lead singer in a cover band. Oftentimes his metal equipment from the band gets beat up a little when he is on tour so he is pretty excited to have this to take with him to improve the appearance of the majority of it. ... show more

This little kit did the job as expected however it isn’t the best made and will not likely due to many jobs but for the price it was a great value. I was quoted $750 by a Paintless dent repair shop and was able to complete the task with this kit with no problem. Some of the tools are sturdy, and should last a long time while others were flimsy, and more of a trick pony. If you were purchasing this to do light work, then it is perfect. If you are wanting this for work or long-term use, you may want to choose something different ... show more

    • Glue sticks and glue gun are not the best, but the rest of the kit works good.

For the price of the kit, the included tools are not too bad. Everything worked as it should, except for thew glue gun and glue sticks. I don't know if the glue sticks were just old, were of poor quality or a combination of both. I could never get the glue sticks to go through the supplied glue gun or a Dewalt glue gun that I also tried. What was funny, was that the glue sticks would melt in direct sunlight. Go figure. I am going to purchase some high-quality glue sticks and try again. I did get to use the slide hammer and a couple if the other tools and they worked as expected. ... show more

All in all the key element did a good job with many sizes of dents. The glue gun gets too hot and bubbly and messy with no subtly there so was a single use piece for me

    • Missed the mark

I just received two hours ago, totally missed the mark. Glue gun gave up after four pumps. Glue stick does not seem to be very strong. Stuck to car body and blue pad but the structural strength left adhesive on both pieces. Pulled apart to easily. Going to try with new heat gun tomorrow.
