I really like this phone case a lot. It appears durable, protective, and is super nice looking. It's not on the same level as a $55.00 otterbox defender, but for $11.99 it is a less expensive version and definitely worth the price. I've tried 3 other cases for my Samsung A71 5g and this by far is my favorite. ** This is not a thin, slim case but in fact big and bulky... Just as the OB defender. If you are looking for the most protection available, on a phone with not many other options, for $11.99, the Jelanry is your best bet. It even has a dust plug for the charging port! ... show more

This is a nice, sturdy case that provides a lot of protection against drops. I've used cases like this on all my phones for years, and it's the only style I'll use. The fit was good, and button alignment was perfect. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the outer "soft" case is not silicon, but instead is Thermoplastic Urethane ("TPU"). And that's what nearly all the cases are these days. The TPU is definitely a tougher material that is more cut and abrasion resistant, but doesn't have the grippiness that silicone does. And since it isn't a soft, it transmits more of the impact to the hard case when you drop it. ... show more

I simply can't give this a good rating because it's designed improperly. It simply cannot be used. The buttons on the case are extended WAY too far to even touch the buttons on the phone itself. The power and volume buttons are unusable. Not to mention the quality has the texture of a children's toy. Dissatisfied and disappointed, I will be returning. ... show more

I LOVE this cell phone case! I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, and because it is so thin, and made of slippery material, I could not pick the darn thing up without dropping it, or having it slip in my hand. It was like trying to hold onto a slimy, wet bar of soap with wet hands. I also could not pick it up without pressing the buttons on the side of the phone, or touching the screen, and screwing everything up, activating everything. I was extremely frustrated! This cell phone case has solved both problems, as well as making the phone very attractive! The case has added a significant amount of thickness, and is made of a non slippery material, and the "fake" buttons on the side that press the real buttons effectively stop me from accidentally pressing the buttons because you have to apply more pressure to press them. They line up with the real buttons well, though, and it is no problem at all to press the buttons when I want to. I also appreciate the dust cover over the charging port. The case is easy to apply, but you need to read the instructions. It comes with clear, simple instructions, with pictures. Once it is put together, the case is locked together tightly, and has a good, solid, quality feel. Everything lines up great on the phone, and I am also using a glass screen protector, and lense protector for the camera, with the case, no problems. I can't comment on impact protection because I've only dropped it from low heights, and on carpet, but it seems sturdy enough that it should protect to some degree. I'm so happy with this case, and can't believe it was so cheap. Glad I didn't get a less attractive, higher priced case from the store! I highly recommend! UPDATE: I've been using this case for 4 years now, and it is still holding up great! I have since dropped my phone on a concrete floor, and pavement outside, several times, with absolutely no damage to my phone. ... show more

To me, this Jelanry phone case felt somewhat comparable to Supcase Unicorn Beetle cases and Poetic Gaurdian series I've used in past phones for my wife and myself. The case felt sturdy, tough, and the buttons look a little tougher than on some other cases. The Jelanry case also felt bulkier than the aforementioned cases because it seems to have 3 main parts compared to 2. My DJI Osmo 3 gimbal barely was able to hold it, which I would only use if I was going for gentle walk. Running with my samsung A71 5G phone inside the Jelanry phone case and gimbal might risk it popping out. Installing the case was pretty easy. Removing the case was much more difficult due to four slots/tabs on the hard plastic part that were hard to press. Like the other phone cases I mentioned, the Jelanry case had a flap to cover the usb-c port. It makes it more tricky to install a cable while driving in the car, but the benefit of a flap is to keep the port clean of debris and water. For my wife, having that protective flap helped in the work environment she was around was a must. As noted in the product description, the Jelanry doesn't have a screen protector built in like the other cases mentioned, but I believe that means the price is relatively lower. With that said, I would invest in a screen protector to more completely keep the phone safe. ... show more
