If I used nails or tacks it would hurt the picture itself and I have so many that frames are super expensive for the amount I have. I found this double sided putty and at first was worried that it would also hurt the back of the art posters but turns out it comes right off if I want it to. It seems to stick just fine. The listing page claims they can be used on painted walls, but the instructions that come with it say the exact opposite. Considering the most common wall people are going to want to mount things on are painted walls it feels like something that needs to be corrected on the listing immediately since that's exactly what I wanted to use them for... Top that off with an extremely strong chemical like smell that feels like a punch to the nostrils when opening the package makes me want to give this 0 stars if that was possible.

"Holds strong on a variety of surface" including Painted Walls but the product packaging that they convenietly left out says it's NOT APPLICABLE FOR PAINTED WALLS. The adhesive feels tacky like the brand name stuff but I don't want to have to patch a bunch of walls because some "removable" adhesive says it's not applicable for walls. Everything is removable if you have the time and effort, but not going to risk this one.

This variety pack of adhesive strips and dots is pretty awesome. The only thing that set me back about them was the odor. It is almost overwhelming. Other than that, the stick factor is so strong that it comes with warnings of where not to use it. Lots of applications in my garage, shop, and garden patio. STUCK WHERE YOU PLACE IT

I used this tape to hang up this large picture. The picture isn’t heavy, but it’s long. I have 2 humidifiers in my room and because I’m on the 3rd floor it gets very hot in my bedroom. the tape has lasted so far! I’m so impressed. I have even cut the squares into smaller pieces to make it fit better for different projects and it is still working great. I would buy it again and recommend it to friends and family.

I selected this particular brand because it listed painted walls as an option for using the adhesives. On the actual packaging, it clearly states not to use it on painted walls. Although it adheres well, I can't use it where I wanted. Good product but beware of inaccurate description. Update: Company reached out to offer refund. Rather than accepting I just found other areas to use adhesives as they work so well. These have held very heavy birthday banners without budging for a couple days. I'm so happy with how well they work, and they peel off cleanly (just no painted walls to be safe).

I’m extremely unhappy. The description of the product on the listing clearly and specifically says it CAN be used on painted walls. However, the actual product’s included information very clearly and specifically says it CANNOT be used on painted walls. Which is it? I picked this product because I thought I could use it on my painted walls to hang party decorations- but I’m not going to risk it since the package insert clearly says not to. I do not recommend this to anyone until/unless the the listing and the package information match each other.

Very easy to apply. Various shapes and sizes to cover just about every application where adhesives are needed. I ordered these double sided adhesives to replace ones that failed on some kitchen hooks I had, and so far so good. I have not attempted to remove them, so I cannot comment on that.
