Above it says 3 minutes to install. That would be true once the grab handle nuts are loosened. It took about 10 minutes. Here are your instructions: 1) take off the glove box. Slide the hanger strap to the right - see pic. 2) with 3/8 ratchet, I used 10mm short socket, which just made it. With 1/4 ratchet, you may need 1 inch extension or the u-joint before the 10mm. Loosen the grab handle's right nut about half way and take off the left nut completely. 3) pull the grab handle on the left side to reveal the stud. Place the Z-bracket over the stud on the punched hole. It should slide all the way to the grab handle. 4) push the left side of the grab handle back into the hole in the dash. Tighten well, but not too much. Remember, the vehicle is 20 or more years old. :) Also, tighten the right nut as well. 5) reinstall the glove box. 6) Install the 90 degree ABS bracket, ball side up, with the bolt and nut supplied. The 10mm nut goes in the back. If you add a flat washer, the bolt will be too short. 7) Install the phone holder bracket by unscrewing the provided nut - put it on to the ball. Snap the phone holder over the ball and thread on the nut, being careful not to cross-thread it. I chose to install mine clamp spring toward the air vent. There is plenty of room. If the Z-brscket seems too bouncy, as some have said, find a nut that can be wedged under the bracket to the grab handle and adhere it to the bracket with a touch of silicone, or the like.

The bracket is awesome and should work great to install a motorcycle mount. The phone mount itself dropped my S21+ a few times while riding on trails. It's cheap plastic and it eventually snapped. The bracket it comes with is worth the money.

I really like this bracket. I use it in conjunction with another holder that automatically opens and closes as well as charges, My only concern is that this is my third one because it’s in my jeep the swivel ball always breaks. I with either it was stronger or I could just by the replacement part. This will be my last one as I will be search for an alternative.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this because I didn’t want to drill into my dash at all. And it put the phone where I wanted it. The first time I ordered it it never made it to the carrier and I ended up getting a refund. I ordered it again and it did show up in a few days. I installed it and the bolt and nut that it comes with is to small and it has no washer so I used some I had. Then when I put my phone in to adjust it where I wanted the actual mount seperated from the ball holder. It is a little tiny acre that is just in plastic, so again I used a larger pan head I had to make it more secure ( if you go this route you have to trim off the self cutter on a half inch acre or the slide won’t come out to put your phone in ). Once I got it to where I actually can put my phone in it. I adjust it where I want it I notice this thing is not that sturdy as you can see in the video. I like the mount and idea it is just not a good quality product. I am going to try and see if I can take it back off and bow the mount to put pressure on the grab handle to stiffen it up. But either way if you purchase something it should be better, I guess it is a deal if you get what you pay for. I will just keep it regardless to see if I can either use it for measurements and design my own or modify it to make it like it should have been to begin with. if I can get it to not jiggle at the least little movement.

This bracket was originally manufactured to hold CB radio mics. By not using the plastic part that holds a cell phone and just using the metal bracket it will hold a CB radio mic perfectly. I used it to hang the mic on my new GMRS radio and it works great.

Was looking for a mount like this to attach my own cell phone holder to, but couldn't find the mount by itself. The phone holder with this is ok, but there are better out there. The bracket i will modify to accept a phone holder of my choosing once I find one I like. I get a little bit of vibration, but have thought of a few ways I can solve that. Even with the vibration, it's never thrown my phone from the mount. All in all, a worthwhile purchase for the money.

This is the best mount I found for a phone in my Jeep. Most of other mounts fall off or break due to the unsteady ride off-road. I haven’t tried this out off-road yet but it is super rigid and I don’t doubt that my Jeep with be taking this mount to the grave
