    • JBL gets the job done

It's not perfect but at this price point it offers everything I needed in a headset reliably. It offers clear audio, the sound does not bleed through when it's turned up (offering privacy with strangers nearby), and the microphone works. The padding around the ears is sufficient and doesn't irritate me after hours of use. It's comfortable when it sits on my head too. I also found out the mic can be detached, so that's nice to have if all you want are headphones. What it doesn't do well is the mute button. The tactile feel is kind of lacking so sometimes it's hard to tell if it's been pressed down or not. So I find myself having to remove the headset to double check if I'm actually muted or not. The last observation is that this headset was slightly smaller compared to my old Logitech g432. The JBL fit snuggly, so just a warning for those that have larger craniums for processing. I work from home in a CSR position and I am constantly on the search for a very specific kind of headset. Wired, over the ear, lightweight, boom mic. It is difficult to find all of these specs in a headset that has a good price and sounds good both in my ears and on the other end to my customers. These work great. For the price this seems like a good deal, but it is not. I recently had a Jeecoo headset that was USB, worked great and had good sound for the price. I'll just copy paste my title, because this is not worth it. Audio cord is too short (you can probably buy an extension but just get a better headset at that point), headphones are comfortable but the sound quality is poor, and the microphone doesn't work. ... show more
