  • Excellent ear buds
Color: Black/Grey
These are my second pair of JBL's. I've really been impressed with the sound quality and noise canceling. Especially for less than $100! In the garage, the air compressor and impact tools are nearly silent. The hearing test and subsequent enhancements are spot on. Over the ear design does take some effort to master the fit but worth it for the security and extra battery life. Super quick charging so far. I was familiar with the associated app and setup was nearly instant. I took a call right out of the box! They stay connected beyond 20 feet which is a substantial improvement over the previous generations. Controls are super easy. The app gives detailed access to all aspects of of the device. Navigation is intuitive and easy if you take a few minutes to tap through all the parameters. These earbuds exceed all expectations at this price! ... show more

  • They Work Great!!
Color: Purple
I've been considering buying one of these for years. The price kept me from doing it. I was worried I'd misplace it and loose it. Finally now that I'm retired I decided it would be ideal to wear these while I am working in my garden to distract me from the summer heat. I absolutely love them. I know the price on various brands can differ greatly. I consider this a pretty reasonable price point. I like the sound quality. I frequently only wear one ear bud as I want to be able to hear what's going on around me as I work. I hate being surprised by people that walk up to me unexpectedly. I practically jump out of my skin. The battery lasts much longer than I expected. This also arrived with a couple of different ear bud sized tips that I appreciate. I needed the smaller option. The size around my ear is comfortable. It stays on very securely. Especially since I switch to the smaller ear bud tip. The larger one wasn't allowing a good fit and became uncomfortable after a few minutes. I am very happy with this brand and with my purchase. ... show more

  • My review after trying many ear hook earbuds
Color: Black/Grey
I don't do reviews unless I really like or hate something, and I feel like I need to do a review for these. After years of trying different headphones, I found my favorite. Others I have had in the past: Airpods Gen 1 & 2 - Would move in my ear and not be comfortable. Issues with ear bud charging in the case PowerBeats Pro - Wouldn't seal in ear. Eventual issues charging in the case Shure Aonic TW2 - Best of the bunch, but wouldn't seal in ear and sweat would get in. Eventually crapped out. (Discontinued by Shure so it says what they think about them) Which led me to these. I got them here on Amazon for 99 bucks which is far less than competitors. Here is my experience with various features. Fit Need to get used to on the first try. You have to rotate them backwards, then forwards, then slightly back again. This seems odd, but once they go in, you definitely know and they are secured in place. I've worn them for a few hours at a time and had no ear pains or even felt them. The silicone tip created a great seal and blocked out the outside noise. I could hear myself breathing. With other earbuds, over time, especially when heating up when working out, they start to slip out of place, not these. just locked in the whole time. Case I know many people keep their earbuds on them all day so I understand the need for a manageable sized case. I wouldn't say this is the smallest case, but it isn't all that large and it is a bit thinner. For me, the case isn't important and I just leave mine in a bag, but I could see this being OK if I had to carry in a pocket. It does feel like cheap plastic and I can see the lid getting snapped off if over extending it. But again, for me, this isn't an issue and for the price, it is what I expect. One other thing that I need to wait and see is how the charging connection holds up. Most of my other earbuds had to go to the dump because the charging connection stopped. These use the same style, but do feel more secure in the case, but time will tell. Sound As soon as these turned on, I was blown away. They are leaps and bounds better than the Shure earbuds. With the nice seal in the ear, all of the sound was directed in, with nice bass and great clarity. The app has EQ setting you can play with as well. They also have a feature where you can test each side and they will adjust the sound to your hearing. Touch controls Here is where I am taking a star away. These earbuds don't have a physical button, it is touch only. You are also able to modify the touch controls (single tap, double tap, etc), BUT you can only choose the presets JBL has. So on one side you can select single touch is volume up, double touch is volume down, and press and hold activates your phones assistant. And on the other side you can select play/pause, next track, previous track. You just cant pick and choose. So for example, if you want double tap on the left to be previous track, and double tap on the right to be next track, you cant. You can only select the options they have. For me, this isn't a big deal. Learning new touch controls isn't the end of the world. However, the touch buttons don't work. Single touch works fine, but double or triple, good luck. So aside from pause/play, I don't use these. There also have been a couple instances that you bump them and they activate. Other things that I really like. They are quick connect to android, so as soon as I opened the case, they popped up on my phone asking to pair. They are waterproof. None of this "sweat resistant" bull crap. My Shure earbuds were corroded. Why is there even an option for them to be corroded??? I haven't tried a phone call yet so I don't have an opinion there, but I didn't buy these to talk on the phone. If you are someone who just needs a decent pair of earbuds for the gym/yard work/home projects, I 100% recommend these. They are the best earbuds I have had and for the price, I am very happy. Anyways, hope this helps. ... show more

  • Average. Very good sound. Bluetooth and charging port issues. Not worth it at full price
Color: Black/Grey
When they're connected they're great they fit on nicely and they have very good sound. The problem is connectivity. Sometimes one of the buds charging ports will come loose in the case even while its sitting perfectly still on a desk and connect to your phone. This can happen overnight and drain the headphone battery. Other times when you pull them.out of the case only one bud connects and you have to place the other one back in to reset to connect. Not annoying the first few times it happens but after awhile it gets annoying especially if you leave the case in the car or the house and you need to turn back around to fumble with the case. At this price I do not recommend if there's a steep discount they're good. ... show more

  • Great earbuds for fitness
Color: White
My Endurance Peak 3 recently died (went through the washer) so it was time to upgrade. This is my third pair of the Endurance Peak line and I would rate it as one of the best all around ear buds out there. I've tried many others and for the price, sounds quality, features, and battery life, I haven't found anything better. I just completed running 13 miles with them and they stayed in place the entire time. If you are running or doing any physical activity that you move around alot, get over the ear buds like these. Some users have had issues with the buttons, but they worked fine for me. You just have to hold your finger in it for a split second and they were very responsive. Battery life has been great so far. The max volume is also plenty loud. I ran by an interstate and could still hear just fine. I can't comment on call quality yet. Only downside some users may find is the case is on the bigger side. It's still smaller than your phone and its the price you pay for over the ear buds. It's really not that big, and it charges up to 48 hours I think. Unless you want to spend 200 to 300 on the next tier of earbuds, these are your best bet for fitness. ... show more

  • Better than my Powerbeats Pro!
Color: Black/Grey
After using beats earbuds for the longest time (powerbeats pro)for the longest time I lost one earbud and decided to give these a try. Being an Android person these were awesome right out the box. My phone immediately recognized them and ask to connect. After downloading the app it has many settings you can customize how the sound comes out of your headphones. Truly noise canceling you can switch it to where you can still talk to other people and hear them using a different setting through the app. Which I believe uses the microphones to provide a clear listening experience if you're talking to someone. The noise canceling is truly impressive and if you have that mode turned on it is difficult to hear other people what you want sometimes. I am truly impressed by these earbuds and look forward to getting much use out of them. Priced at a reasonable $100 brand new you can't beat this value! The beats that I lost one earbud for are $160 refurbished but provide lesser quality sound for more money. They charge quickly and fit comfortably in my ear. The loop that goes around your ear is kind of flappy but still sits securely once hooked around your ear compared to my beats which had a much more rigid ear loop. No issues around my glasses either! • Disappointed
Color: Black/Grey
This has been a disappointing purchase. The ear buds sound great but the charging system is just not worthy of a $100 set of ear buds. I bought these for exercise because they won't fall out and they were sweat proof. However, three times now I have been halfway through a workout and they die. The problem is the charging system is super finicky, and they don't have a power meter in the case, so you have to connect and go to an app to see if both sides are powered. The website site and google have suggestions but the problem continues. I bought these for trouble free workouts not an ongoing science project in connectivity. ... show more

  • respectable quality but would I buy them again--probably not
Color: White
I want to like these. Battery life does not meet my expectations though. For the price, they have good sound quality, seem to be excellent design for athletic activities, and overall I don't regret the purchase. They replaced my sennheiser momentum true wireless, which only paled in terms of ergonomic design (fit) and adaptive noise-cancelling but excelled everywhere else. I would have replaced them tit-for-tat but one of the buds just failed out of nowhere, after 3 years, and so I don't know if that's normal or if the one that was still working strong should have failed also but happened to be the exception. I have long experienced bluetooth signal flapping with the sennies (but that might be because my bluetooth devices didn't support better codecs for wireless signaling--like AptX) and not necessarily because the sennheiser ear buds had a design problem. At any rate, I decided to give a new manufacturer a go. Knowing what I know now, about proper codecs (a proper bluetooth adapter-dongle could have fixed the issues with my old sennies)--I'd probably have just replaced them with the same Sennheiser earbuds--they were superior in terms of fit, battery life, and maybe sound quality--the JBL's have respectable sound quality. Sound Quality: 5/5 (customizable EQ via App can give owner preferred sound profile) Comfort of fit: 3/5 (this will vary by person but for me they're like 3/5, the ear tips are oval-shaped and cannot create a clean seal in the canal except in very specific angles, which may be difficult to sustain during activity); sleeping with them can be extremely uncomfortable Battery Life: 3/5 ( this cost a full star) full charge might give 6-8 hours of continual playback and with the case, I noticed you might get 3-4 full charges, which is closer to 24-32 hours of total playback time with the case at 100% and the earbuds 100%. I go to bed and before I wake up (typically less-than 8-hours later) the buds are dead. I used to be able to rock my sennheiser's for maybe close to 12 hours on a full-charge. Quality of life features: 4/5 (lost a whole point for inability to control volume with the buds) ... show more
