  • Excellent Replacement for OEM Speakers on a 2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime
Style: 3-1/2" Speakers
The OEM Panasonic speakers (tweeters) on the front dash of my 2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime are very cheap and the sound quality isn't very good. The JBL Club 3020 speakers improved both the higher frequency sounds as well as boosting the bass. Since my SE model has the OEM sound system (no JBL premium system available) there is no subwoofer and these help to compensate for that. Also these speakers are closest to the driver and provide most of the sound heard. The procedure to replace the speakers was very easy and did not take a long time. I used the Red Wolf wiring harness (which has reversed polarity BTW and has to have the wires cut and reversed) and other than that were easy to clip on. There are several videos on You Tube that demonstrate how to perform the procedure. I highly recommend these speakers. ... show more

  • Ummm... What the hell is this sorcerery?
Style: 3-1/2" Speakers
I bought these to replace my original factory dash speakers on my 2005 Durango Limited (Hemi). I am replacing all my interior speakers after a few years of aftermarket head unit and 12" subwoofer (amped). I wanted speakers that could be adequately pushed by the head unit. I'm a mechanic and sound freak. I bought these just to replace my old blown paper speakers but didn't expect anything really. Just clean sound to support my interior speakers. At like $40... What can you really expect? Install was easy with a power harness and a few youtube tutorials. I know people argue about speaker break in but after about 6 hours total use over 2 weeks I had to check if they had build in amps or something. How these have such thick rich bass is beyond me. They are heavy and well made but, geez... They dump with just the standard current coming off my pioneer head unit. I'm dragging my feet on finally putting in my component door speakers because these hit so hard. They aren't sufficient as a complete speaker set up but in a supporting role - they are really amazing. After some break in the highs and mids are buttery smooth and the bass is deep and satisfying. I'm really blown away. Of course the factory speakers are trash but these are hidden gems especially for the price. Really incredible. If they fit in your ride, buy them yesterday. ... show more

  • This is a nice upgrade!
Style: 3-1/2" Speakers
I bought these in the 3.5 inch variety along with a pair of the 6x9 inch JBL offering to put into my 2007 Lexus RX350. The non Levinson factory system just wasn't cutting it for me. I chose to have them professionally installed because Lexus door panels are ridiculously expensive. I didn't go looking to put together some youngsters competition system as those days are long behind me but wanted a nice upgrade without spending a fortune. I am very much pleased with the results. The bass is punchy, tight and well defined if not in your belly, the mids are smoother and more pronounced and the high end has a newfound crispness to it. There is little of interest in the crash of a cymbal without hearing the sizzle and the sustain. I then added the 6520's to the rear doors. The overall sound quality is sufficient for a 56 year old man wanting to feel like a kid again. The bass is plenty for me, This is a significant upgrade on a budget and one could do FAR worse. I recommend! Contrary to what Amazon says, these 3.5 inch drop right into the corner dash locations and the A-pillar tweeters have remained in place. Contrary to what Crutchfield says, the 6.5's go in the rear doors as well. ... show more

  • Get the pac blue bass blockers if you have a rav 4
Style: 3-1/2" Speakers
After about 2 weeks the driver side is crackling super bad. It is hooked to my 2020 Rav4 stock radio. I have bass on the radio at 50 percent. Admittedly I did have it at 95 percent of the way up. I think the speaker is blown and since the car is wired in Series my whole driver side sound is out from the 3.5in speaker to the door 6.5in speaker. If you do end up getting these get the pac bass blockers the blue ones to only block some of the bass they are less than 10 dollars. Previously I had kicker DS 3.5in and they began to crackle also. Those lasted 6 mos at least. The crackle sound is similar to AM radio crackling when looking for a station. The speakers sound good I just blame my factory radio for being too powerful lol. Crazy first time ever. ... show more

  • Perfect fitment & upgrade for my Magnum dash.
Style: 3-1/2" Speakers
These little speakers hit the spot! I wanted a full range option for my dash instead of simply tweeters (personal preference) & I needed something that could be amplified & keep up with the rest of my system & these little 3.5s did just that! I installed them without the crossovers, just plug & play & I can make adjustments via my head unit & amp. I listen to a wide range of music, but primarily techno & bass & these offer loud & quality sound without distortion or loss of range. Highly recommend ... show more

  • They sound good but not sure if it’s only me but one of them broke too soon.
Style: 3-1/2" Speakers
Speakers when received look like good quality and are somewhat heavy so they feel like very good quality. I didn’t install them right away waited a couple months due to time which I regret because it literally took me about 5 minutes to get them on. But after maybe of 6 months of use the left side broke where it is glued on as shown on the picture. I mean they’re only about 60 bucks but still I thought JBL they must be really good quality. Would I buy them again? Maybe just because I won’t be installing a whole system just yet and I really like how they sound at first and the extra bass they create. I’ll cross my fingers maybe my next set won’t break soooo quick. ... show more

  • Nice clean sound
Style: 3-1/2" Speakers
Replaced the dash tweeters in a 2006 Charger. OE were Boston Accoustics, which despite being blown were pretty decent for OE. The 3020 clubs are still superior and with much more detail. If you're replacing a stock setup the Club series are hard to beat. If I have to nit-pick about anything it's that the tweeter does protrude ~1/4" so it comes within a hair of touching the dash panel. OE were 2 ohm and these are 3 ohm which is probably just a happy medium between a 2 and 4 ohm setup. Something to bear in mind is these are only 20W RMS (60W Peak). Again for stock replacement and at any reasonable volume level that's a non-issue. If you are trying to blow your eardrums the Club series is not designed for that and you will fry them. Other specs: Sensitivity (@ 2.83V) 89dB Frequency Response 90Hz – 20kHz Pro tip: If your old speakers are blown anyway just remove the OE connector and solder it to your new ones, no need to cut wires or buy a harness adapter. ... show more
